Ghostwire: Tokyo - 18 Minutes of Gameplay

Looks intriguing, I hope it turns out well.

I do wish the character movement wasn't so "digital", that there was more head-bob and variation and just life to the character movement. Seems weird when a first-person game tries to put you in the character's boots but then the gameplay reminds you constantly that you're watching on a screen.

I dont know why this isnt cross gen. Looks quite interesting but I dont know what is "next gen" about this.
I don't care it doesn't look "high tech" the art design looks fantastic and as for why it's also not on PS4, I'm guessing it's much easier for them to concentrate on one platform for now.

Evil Within was also cross gen but it had very dodgy performance both on PS3 and PS4.

To be fair nothing so far this gen has seemed "next gen" to me. I think it will happen when devs have there next gen technology implemented but devs are really slow this gen. Last gen we had "dam that next gen" moments right from the start with ryse and shadowfall.
The latest Hellblade 2 gameplay looked like CGI to me. That screamed next gen in my opinion. Also that Unreal engine 5 demo was awe inspiring.

Once we get rid of cross gen I think we will see alot more next gen looking games.

Looks interesting, reminds me of Control in first person. It will live and die by the crispness of that gameplay, visually it's hitting the right notes.

The 18m gameplay is in 30fps which is a concern, I assume it's raytracing and there is a performance mode for 60fps gamers.

No, just wondering why when the game does not look like its doing anything which makes it current gen only.
Yeah, can't see anything taking advantage design wise that would need to be redesigned for last gen. Can't see any physics or destruction, or simulation of any kind.
