Here is my take on GZ:
Every Kojima game so far had horrible and cringeworthy writing. Seriously. But it always seemed to fit cause the MGS universe is so damn stupid. The bad writing and insane things that happened felt like such a sharp contrast to the times the game pretended to be serious that it almost always worked somehow, in an insane way.

GZ just seemed waaaaaaaay too serious so the horrible writing stood out way more despite fitting the tone of the game more than in previous games. I don't even know how this is possible.
I hope PP will be a lot sillier otherwise I don't know if I can take Kojima's pseudo philosophical garbage.
 
The less I have to hear Kiefer the better. Everything else looks phenomenal, even as someone who usually hates open world games.

I think it will still be silly. We did have a trailer dedicated to the cardboard box after all.
 
So this could be weird, The Nokia Theater is being rebranded as The Microsoft Theater so at E3, Nintendo will be holding the return of The Nintendo World Championships at The Microsoft Theater.
 
It seems like they are going to try to balance out the more serious narrative by letting you get into as much dumb fun as possible while you are out in the field.

technically, MGSV doesn't have a number either since it's always had a V for what we all assume is a 5

so the real MGS5 is still possible, especially now that Kojimanime is no longer part of the series and they're bringing in some fresh blood to get it back on the rails
 
Just watching the latest UPF, the first hour or so has been real dumb and unprofessional.

And Brad (of the shoe making kind) is still lookin' real good with his new style.
 
but really, I would also ban an anime called The Testament of Sister New Devil because nothing good could come from something called The Testament of Sister New Devil
 
We've gone from wrestling to Metal Gear to anime so far today. This thread is a nightmare. I'm praying for an earlycast to save our immortal souls.

Lots of hot announcements today are going to make the Bombcast a fun listen, though. Can't wait to hear about the lack of news. :)
 
This IKEA furniture building sim doesn't seem very good. I mean the QL was funny but didn't make me want to play the game.

Also, people who complain that building IKEA furniture is frustrating or in any way hard either never built any or are idiots. If you can assemble lego then you can assemble a Billy Bookcase. The Billy is cheaper and you get something actually useful at the end of it.

I know in the UK there are multiple companies that exist solely to come and build your flatpack furniture for you

Horses are the worst. I can get in on some horse hate this week. Not for games, just actual horses. More specifically horses that exist for no reason other than to enable degenerate gamblers. I'm pretty glad that every future Triple Crown will get zero attention now that "Will a new horse win the triple crown?" is no longer an interesting question.

it doesnt look like something id ever play by myself but if it supports 4 players its probably amazing as a drunk party game
