Listening to Dan jizz himself over Kojima and that new game is hilarious. It explains so much of Dan's personality where everything has to be a bit (which is ok once and a while). Trying to describe Kojima as some mad genius when in reality he's just a horrible fucking writer who can't write anything coherent to save his life is just funny.

Keep in mind a lot of people here are VERY edgy and cool. Waypoint is good. They've got some good writing on there. The podcast is alright.

I did like a lot of stuff they have had on their site, including the few videos. They are actually pretty damn well produced. I've probably read more Waypoint articles than several years worth of GB ones. I just don't enjoy the podcast as much as I thought I would. You know, "edgy".

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
I'm mixed on Waypoint. They obviously are super talented people but I find that I don't care about a lot of things they write about. The Watchdogs 2 and Race article could have been pretty interesting, but I hated the fake "conversation" style. Even if it wasn't fake, I really don't like this style of writing.

I don't see how it qualifies for either category. The game is exactly what everyone thought it would be from the beginning. There was never a lie about what it would be like with No Man's Sky and it isn't lacking basic functionality like Street Fighter V. Nor is it even a stitched together Frakenstein of a game like Final Fantasy XV.

The only thing I can think of is the performance on the base model PS4, which to be fair IS seriously disappointing. Like, it's bad. Not quite SotC PS2 levels bad, but honestly not too far off either in spots. But nowhere near "hottest mess" bad, especially in 2016. And I think the game itself is just amazing. I'm a jaded fool and it's just made me gape in wonder at times. What they've done with Trico is amazing.

It's the one time of year they actually talk about games without being terrified they will spoil something and upset the audience of manchildren that care about that sort of thing

Related to the Bombcast: My PC keeps crashing during the boot-up process (it crashes once, then works fine). Not only does it show that dumb sad smiley every time, but also a QR code. So I had to download a QR reader on my phone to find out if this thing tells me whats wrong. It doesn't. It just leads to the generic "Woops, you got a blue screen" page.

Also, I had to look up how to uninstall Recore cause that's not a process that should be super simple. Seriously Microsoft, get your shit together

HA! I remember how FURIOUS some people were when Brad spoiled the ending of Dead Island in the QL for the DLC. You know Dead Island? Known for it's amazing story? And what a twist it was!

Amazon shipped a damage copy of TLG and I'm not all that upset because I have a faint hope Sony will release a 720p/900p locked 30fps patch for the standard PS4. For that true PS3 experience.

Writing is good. Ideas are good. Wayradio has too many similar personalities right now

Does anyone else's mouse disappear when using the GB HTML5 player in fullscreen? Makes it hard to adjust volume. Using Chrome.
