I did the Thunder Plains jumps in sets of 25, got up walked around for a bit, had a drink of water, then resumed.

Then sets of 20 once I reached 100.

Tens when I reached 160.

Ended up doing like 212 just to be sure. I was shaking pretty bad at that point.

I remember completing that challenge but remember nothing about the time I spent doing it or even how long it took me. But now it does sound like a massive amount of bullshit. Man, FFX has so much side bullshit to deal with for end game weapons like Blitzball, Chocobo racing, pixel hunting the "world map".

Why do people like that game again? Actually, why did I buy the HD Remaster?

The way I've done it on consoles for years, is to set the language to English on a system level. I'm sure you'll be fine with an English PS4 menu.

All current releases are multilingual. Only early Bethessa titles of this gen like The Evil Within are German only.

You can trust me on this, because I play everything in English.
