Caved and got shovel knight for Switch, and mannn it looks great on that screen. I never got in on the 3DS so the jump in IQ from DSi to Switch is still mindblowing to me haha.

Although given that it's not a real dpad I'm finding it easier to use the analog stick. Feels weird, but the fact you can't 'rock' your thumb between inputs makes it hard to pull off certain moves quickly.

My only experience of Gitaroo Man was through my PSP and that has since been lost in time. I have a CRT (with s-video!) + PS2 setup in a corner of my room but I am not willing to shell out the ass for that game on eBay.

Even aside from the time investment, IMO robotrock is right in that it's basically just more P4, except with slicker presentation.

It's not like any of them would have gotten through P4 on their own either.
