Was it Zac Minor that did some video editing during the GB E3 stuff? Apparently he's joining the PlayStation video team this week.

Just got to the last segment of Day 3 thinking to myself "Thank god they avoided having Paul Barnett on this year." Well fuck me. This guy is the worst human being alive.
 
What if they clone Vinny twice to fill the new positions? Vinny Prime stays in NY with his family, and occasionally work with Alex. The better clone works in front of camera and records Quick Looks. The slightly eccentric clone (due to a cloning mistake) works only behind the scenes. However, sometimes is allowed out to Quick Look Anime games.

Anyone happen to remember the bombcast episode where they get the email from the guy who works at the airplane manufacturing company?

better yet anyone have a youtube version of that exchange?

Why would it be early? It's Tuesday, they were likely out Monday so they're recording today.

If it doesn't come out that early when it's recorded on a Monday, why would it be early when it's recorded on a Tuesday?
 
Listening to the predictions cast and I almost forgot Drew was there for a while. They need a guest for the couple of Jeff, Brad, Drew casts they'll have before the newbie starts. Otherwise it'll just be Jeff and Brad talking to each other and we all know the history between those two.
 
I've been a bit jaded about Giantbomb lately, but jeeez theirs was hands down the best E3 coverage around!

Here's the thing. Someone in the E3 thread said that Brad was a bad host and that he'd be bad replacement for Jeff (the person was not satisfied with Jeff, either). However, I don't remember him ever hosting a live show/podcast. I'd like to see him try! Maybe it will help with the sleepiness.

He was basically hosting the Daily Dota casts I watched. I only stopped watching because of the screaming person, but I think he was doing a good job.
 
The curious side of me would love to hear Brad hosting the bombcast just once. It would be something else, I tell ya. Something else.

I also think Drew stepped it up a bit on the first Bombcast after Vinny left but then he was back to being quiet on the prediction bombcast... except for when they talked about Halo.
 
Brad hosts/hosted/whatever Daily Dota if that counts. Not the same as a cast or live show, but led the questions for that and (tried) to keep things on track.

I don't dislike Barnett too much, and I'm trying not to judge, but the part from that segment that bugged me the most was how much it sounds like he spoils his kid rotten. Letting your brat ask game developers snotty questions on your cellphone? Maybe I'm just interpreting it wrong, but it sounded like a scene of those overindulged kids out of The Chocolate Factory.
 
Hoping for a Danny appearance on the Bombcast.

Expecting Rorie as a temp stand-in until Dan arrives.

Alexis is the wildcard.

Then again, wasn't it during one these weird periods where lots of people were gone that we got the Bombcast with "Jeff" and "Brad"?

"Jeff" would be a good temporary host.
 
So.. I guess Vinny over skype is just 100% out of the question?

I know they hate the lag/comedic timing of it all.. but cmon man.. We can deal with it!!! Small business man lives forever!

Vinny used to bring on Patrick on skype when he hosted. I never felt like it hurt the podcast in anyway..

Also - has there been any confirmation on if Dan is the new hire? Or is this still all speculation at this point?
