Oh god, I got off at 3 AM and got caught up on giant bomb content only to remember I have to go in at noon today. By the time I get off I will have been up 32 hours.
I've made a huge mistake ;-; Of course I've done this before and don't sleep much in general, but that terrible DD video wasn't worth this at all.

Are Rocky V fans like RE6 in that they have created this mass delusion that somehow the thing they enjoy is that amazing creation no one seems to recognize?

RE6 has unmatched mechanics, Rocky V has less than nothing.
If nothing else the giantbomb quick look of RE6 is the prime example of many not being able to handle complex movement. There's a bit where an enemy jumps at Brad and grabs him and he goes on and on about how there's nothing you can do about it and Jeff chimes in with "Couldn't you leap backwards"? and he brushes it aside and never does it. People tried to play it like the Order when it's not a cover shooter.
I once took a date to see Drive Angry, the Nicolas Cage escapes hell to fight a religious cult movie. It actually worked out pretty well. I guess it would depend on who you're dating of course.
I must have been really lucky with my encounter with the fear. When the fight began, I just put on my thermals and continuously fired at him as he leapt between three trees in front of me. That was it. I guess it's probably harder if you're trying to stamina kill him.

Archive is totally possible, but I don't think it'll be livestreamed. Traditionally, only Albatross and the main theater are livestreamed.
But, yeah, that panel's going to be one of my highlights of PAX East. I'm even skipping the Pillars of Eternity panel to go to it.

Yes you did, but really. I honestly think that if Resident Evil 6 had actually explained its mechanics its reception would have been so very different. Reading the reviews showed that 90% of the reviewers didn't understand the movement options at your disposal. Case in point, the scenario described above.
Of course Brad is unique in his ways of playing games in the boring way possible. That Mordor dlc quick look was rough.

Probably if you call somebody 75 times on the codec. I never figured it out on my own in my first playthrough.
The GB Wiki tells me it's on PS3, 360, PS4 and Xbone.

I was thinking about what one of you said about Dan not just thinking about content ideas. He has an idea and then acts on it as soon as he can make it happen.
It was in connection to Danny O'Diddly announcing that he will be streaming a morning show from home Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. Even though he must know hardly anyone will watch it.
Contrasted with GB East which has had two months to replace their morning show with something. No offense Alex - but WTF are you doing all day?

Hmm, I guess it balanced out for me, because the end took me foreeeever. I even knew what I was supposed to be doing but just ended up going around in circles for ages looking for him. I got a legit jump scare when he ran up behind me at one point.

Where was GBeast supposed to record a podcast though, their studio was only recently setup and it's not even completely finished.

Has Alex ever thought of or made his own premium content? Bombing the AM felt like a Patrick joint and even then he made other series like Spookin'. So yeah, I don't know what Alex does really.
Vinny I can excuse because he's a video man who is probably busy setting stuff up, taking care of a family with two babies, plus he made a ton of premium stuff when he was still in GB West.

Sure when the person who he was doing the show with also had a setup that allowed them to do so, who knows if Vinny would be able to pull that off.

Yeah, its honestly a bit silly to me. There is no reason it should be taking this long. Seems like terrible management/lack of motivation at this point.
Yea sometimes I flip my brain in corporate mode and wonder why on earth are Vinny and Alex getting paid for literally two Quick Looks a week.
I'm sure they'll pick up speed once their studio is done but also at the same time I wonder how much of a shock it'll be to finally have to work.
And, yes, I know it's not a 1:1 fair comparison but there are YouTubers making single handedly more money with tons of more content than GB combined and they work with a simple home setup. If a YouTuber can do 1080p/60 videos with a $150 Blue Yeti and a $300 capture card connected to a PC the two people doing an hours worth of content a week with a higher budget makes me scratch my head.
I just have no clue how inefficiently they spend their 8 hrs a day...
