Yeah that's him. But Idk, looking back, i don't see why I had a negative reaction to him.
Lol. I guess it's unfair of me to dislike someone without remembering why...Because looking back on that he was clearly making some fair points.

You can't possibly expect us to answer that kind of question when we have no idea of what everything Alex does for the company. Obviously nothing wrong with criticism, but hypothetical questions like that are just odd, especially when none of us except the crew know what "the raw numbers" actually are.
Rab's making movies now. I'm pretty sure that's his main passion and career direction. He recently released a fantastic little indie horror (filmed for under a grand) called The House Of Him. Easily one of the most interesting films I watched last year. Fair warning: it is very much not a comedy.

I'm intrigued. Once I'm done marathoning HoC, I'm all over this.
LPs isn't just screaming into a mic. Actually playing the game doesn't take too long, it's the editing, community interaction, forming contacts and outsourcing other kinds of work (like graphics design and theme music), dealing with companies (getting asked to do special functions or appearances, requesting review copies, talking with YouTube/ad companies to get pay in order), designing and setting up merchandise and expanding the brand. Let's Play'ers work a full 8 hours just like everyone else and it's not all fun.
Well he is playing Rez on an IMAX screen so what could GB offer to top that..

I'm talking more about the fact that he has two infant children which I can't imagine lends itself well to an environment where you can record a podcast for 2 hours.
While I doubt either track is going to be that great, I can't imagine listening to Norm and Will trip over themselves for two hours (or 90 minutes if it's the studio edit) trying to one-up each other at pointing out things they read on the trivia page of IMBD. I'm sure their mixer committed suicide after about five minutes and the commentary track is mostly just empty silence.
I'm not for suicide, but I understand the audio mixer's motives.
As for Dan and Drew... it could be okay, I guess. It can't be worse than what The Comedy Button does, right? A child throwing a temper tantrum for 90 minutes would be better than what they do, though. I'll give Dan and Drew's a short tryout.
I wish Joe Bob Briggs would do more DVD commentaries. *sigh*
just having to constantly commentate and keep people entertained during the slow parts of any game is actually pretty tough. I admire LPers who can keep a full LP consistently fun to watch even during "boring" or "slow" parts. talking while playing is also incredibly hard.

i have watched all of it and i don't have too much free time. things like d and d and unprof fridays i put it on the background while i'm doing other stuff. some quick looks too.
if you put it on in the bg while doing something else, it goes by quick.
Yeah. Even talking coherently in front of a camera is hard, then you try and be funny of interesting on top of that for a solid 30 minute 1-take block. But it's easier if you have someone to bounce off of like a Giant Bomb QL.
Between Giant Bomb's new throng of content and the Super Best Friends running like, 3 LPs at once right now, I am super behind in everything. And Metal Gear Scanlon's just starting up again! I still haven't watched the latest Jar Time, and I really like those features.

Giant Bomb videos on my xbone have been the only thing keeping me sane for when I'm up till 3-4 in the morning doing coding assignments.

If you didn't pickup the GOTY edition you should also get Undead Nightmare, it's basically the B movie spin off of Red Dead and it has a good chunk of new content as well.

Yeah I REALLY want to play it. The ending gives me 3:10 to Yuma vibes (not a huge spoiler, as the ties are fairly vague), but I don't own a PS3. It looks like it's not available on PS Now either, so the only chance I'd have of playing it would be either a Remaster or a PC port.
