Giant Bomb E3 2012

To me, what I don't like about this podcast is that it doesn't feel like people having a good time and talking about whatever they want. But rather feels like a formal interview between GB & 343.

It's that Microsoft kool-aid, that shit is strong. Brain washes people into staying on message as much as possible.

If there's anything I wanna know about Halo 4, it's if Conan and Andy's voices will be used in the game as they recorded them.

THIS. You know that's got to be an interesting story.
Yeah, but can you imagine any of them talking about it?

"Yeah, so Ryan wanted to make an ambitious, genre defining game but Microsoft just wanted another Halo so he decided to leave and go make Republique".

I don't think that conversation will ever happen. lol

Can we all agree that the best part of the 10 hours of podcasts so far is Jaffe, who had no game to pimp?

Oh, and Hawktaku of course.

He was good last year too, because he wasn't trying to pimp Twisted Metal the entire time and actually went off the list of talking points. He was honest and had fun with the conversation.

Edit: Thanks David Ellis.

Forgotten Xcom?

True enough, but it was at least broken up by people goofing off. This really does just feel like a straight up professional interview (which is not at all what I want from a GB after hours podcast) Don't get me wrong, I love the Halo games but I am just not interested in this type of information dump at this very moment.

Yeah, I'm sure if you like Halo this is awesome, but for the rest of us it is kind of ridiculous talking about one game for so long. Maybe not a good idea to have 3 guys from one studio on at once. edit: ok they're moving on

Best moment is Ed Boon's FUCK THIS PLACE!

Incidentally, not much was talked about his game Injustice, just the right amount. This, on the other hand, is ridiculous.

Even taking into account that I'm not really into Halo, I'm really surprised how impressed people seem to be about the Halo 4 demo. Other than the new enemies and weapons, it looked like every other Halo game.

Yaaay.

Like I said earlier in the thread, Ryan did a better job at cutting people off and moving on last year, I think. I think he's just trying to be polite this time, but it tends to make the conversation one-note.

I hate these 'fake' sandbox games... same shit Conviction pulled.

Going through a door or going through the window... BOOM... sandbox.

Just, no.
