I'm still surprised by how much I liked what I saw of COD. I wonder if well get some Enders Game style MP maps?

I was surprised at how much of the COD gameplay looks identical to the Titanfall 2 gameplay.

1. Grapple Hook enemy → travel toward them quickly with the grapple line → kill enemy with melee attack during travel
2. Use anti-gravity to cause enemies to float up in the air → enter enemy sight mode where enemies glow red → pick off enemies with your assault rifle

How in the hell are two different games unveiling both of those in the same day?

I thought exactly the same after seeing this moment specifically.

I'm not surprised they're continuing to have similarities: after Titanfall 1 CoD seemed to increase its mobility options as a direct reaction to Titanfall's popularity. That's how it appeared anyway.

Then again, I don't think it's very "level-headed" to criticize these things to begin with. They're conferences, who cares. Being critical about this kind of stuff just comes across as being a bummer, in my eye. But yeah, that's just me.

I think Titanfall 2 wowed me the most so far. I'm a huge fan of the first, but I had no idea it would look that awesome.

Dead Rising does look dope. That other zombie game (which I legit can't remember the name of) took inspiration from the World War Z film...which I found goofy as hell. Zombies pouring out like liquid was dumb in that film and it looks dumb here. There's legit no reason to ever shoot at the zombies since there's an endless supply of them.

Yeah it definitely seems weird but i kind of see how both things can progress to the same point. COD seemed like it needed a way to get around in space faster and Titan fall needed a way to stay in the air without flying. Killing people with just comes with the territory.

What's different about Titanfall 2 from the first? I played a fair bit of T1 and only saw the trailer at the EA conference but it just looked like the added grappling hook and that grenade, gravity well? Is there much else? Kinda left a bit disappointed from the trailer if I'm honest.
