Yeah I'm trying to watch it on YouTube as well, and I'm a bit confused as to why it isn't there yet.
Brad namedrops GAF all the time. Even if it's only to (correctly) hint at us being terrible.
She was great, but understandably a little over excited.
Luke Smith was cool, too. But I wish Jeff had asked him about his weird tweet where he asked if Geoff's Keighley reporting of the $499 price for XOX was a "designed leak".
That's just a bit of press still inside Luke's body coming out. Happens ever so often, especially when he gets snarky.

tbh I think that was a really good contrast compared to GB's more measured approach, it was cool seeing how amped up she was about doing something Star Wars related

To be fair, Phil is in a much better spot to answer questions about the Xbox brand than Reggie is in to answer questions about Nintendo. Spencer is the head of Xbox as a whole, whereas Reggie is the President and COO of Nintendo of America.
I guess. But replace Phil with whoever you want from Nintendo, the top of the top dogs, you still won't get an interview like that.
The only person from Sony I could ever see doing a similar interview would have been Jack Tretton. Shawn Layden sure as hell isn't.

Yeah, I totally agree. I see Phil get a lot of hate, but I think it's cool that he does pretty relaxed interviews like what he does with GB.
Listening to Patrick's interview with Phil after the on with Jeff and Phil answers a lot of the same questions word for word the same. It's kind of freaky tbh. Not that I think Phil is "fake" in any way, but his answers seem so scripted, probably because he's had to repeat these responses to every outlet for some time.

I'm going to be out for most of the day, going to a concert. Hopefully I'll be able to make it before the interviews start. Apart from the MS one on day 1, the rest have been amazing.

really loved the entire Phil Spencer interview segment. Dude comes off as really genuine once you separate him from the PR speak. One on one, on the couch, he seems like a cool gamer dude.

Why would you even want that? Reggie is a walking marketing machine. Jeff would get nothing meaningful out of him.

It's annoying that this stuff keeps being joked about, and also having listened to most of that podcast episode, I also don't agree that was the implication- it was more that he would feel ok leaving if the site wasn't going in a direction he/the crew liked. Abby's barely started, besides.
Furthermore as I said some pages back, if anyone's leaving from now on it'd probably not be announced at E3/GOTY because of this bad connotation that's building.
That's what I mean, I don't think Reggie can be entertaining in a GB context.
