Giant Bomb @ E3 2017: <>

Better than last year, at least (I think, truth be told I don't even remember last year's beyond feeling "Meh") but still underwhelmed overall. But I was never that interested to begin with, and most what I want will be available on PS4 or PC.

I know this is gonna sound shitty and cynical but Anthem LOOKS good but just so over "sci-fi future setting where you wear a cool suit" games. I lost count of how many of those I've gone through.

If they hadn't announced the Xbone X, I would have gotten the impression that they are getting out of the console space completely with this weak ass showing.

I was super sold on Anthem right up until they got to that platform to put their suit on, and there was another player standing there.

Even as someone who loves Destiny, this is not at all what I want from Bioware.

Yo, just switched to the GB stream.

I'm SO GLAD there was so much talking on stage. Now I know their message. Great. Every press conference should be like that.

Somebody finally made an Iron Man game.

Warframes are still cooler, alas.

I honestly think it was a fine showing if you already own an Xbox.
But I didn't see any must have reasons to become an Xbox owner now

I wonder how much that's going to be an issue for consoles in general that don't have Switch like gimmicks though

Decent showing, but nothing that makes me want to buy the 1X. Glad to see that original Xbox games will be coming though, hopefully Breakdown is on the list.

Really the biggest concern with Anthem is the setup of "oh there's a big town and then outside the town wall there are monsters!" which is not only pretty played out but also says to me that it's gonna be the same Destiny setup of one big social hub where story stuff happens and then everything else is just PvE zones.

Better than EA, but that's not saying much.

There's zero reason to have two consoles that are pretty much exactly the same.
