There's only so much you can do "automatically". You can improve loading times across all games but stuff like 4K resolutions or higher framerate caps requires a dev to touch it to make sure it actually works.
i feel like many were under the assumption that somehow Scorpio wouldn't be as "half assed" as the PS4 pro with regards to improvements to older games.
So, Xbox One X basically has "pro mode" and needs specific patches for old games.
No difference to PS4 pro then? (except for the post-patch result being of highter quality ofc.)

Yeahhh that immediately came to mind when I saw your original post. A lot of the fan communities across their podcasts are fucking unbearable these days, it's mostly an arms race to be offended over whatever. And the guys, well meaning as they are, seem to be running themselves ragged trying to keep on top of things and address every little criticism that comes their way.
Anyway off topic I guess, but part of the reason I feel they peaked a while back. That, and overusing boys
