So here's a fun thing I realized when looking at that
spreadsheet I made to respond to Cairnsay: things are gonna be a lot rougher in Steal My Sunshine from now on.
Levels marked with red in that spreadsheet are notoriously difficult ones. The next Ricco Harbor level is such a level, so they'll likely hit that soon if they want to wrap it up before moving on. They have 2 levels in Sirenna Beach (the first of which is a Secret level to begin with) before they encounter one. Even worse, Noki Bay and Pianta Village (the areas they've done the least) both only have a single level between where they are now and one of those levels.
Obviously, they can do hidden Shines and 100 coin Shines to mix things up. And supposedly only 1 of the 6 remaining Delfino Plaza Shines is bad (though that's apparently the worst thing in the game), so as long as they don't do that they'll have some filler.
But even with that picking levels is going to be a minefield from here on out, particularly as they also have 3 Secret levels left - one each for Sirena Beach (the Casino), Noki Bay, and Pianta Village - as well as having to get red coins for those 3 levels and 6 others as part of the hidden Shines.
they're going to die
