Giant Bomb PSVR stream | It's always Summer in PlayStation VR Nation

I feel so bad for Jeff. Those headsets have to be faulty. I can't see Sony fucking up this bad with working on it since 2010. I could be wrong, but If it's working fine for most reviewers and bad for a few, then I am leaning towards faulty tech.

Could it be something wrong with him physically? He is morbidly obese...

EDIT: I'm concerned about the man's health, not sure why I'm being torn apart.

I have had issues with every PS peripheral launch. Two of my four six axis controllers wouldn't track right...the internal calibration was completely broken. I went through four (!) move controllers before I had some that tracked correctly.

I have no problem believing that there's faulty headsets out there. Especially with that eurogamer confirmation.

most reviews are saying this is the best lineup of games out of all 3 headsets.....

the guns pointing and losing their centering is a little weird

They aren't competing with launch lineups any longer, and the Vive is sitting at over 600 games today (80% being janky shit)

The jitter seems much worse outside the headset than inside. It's an "issue" with Vive stuff too.

Headset jitter (caused by head movement) is worse outside than inside due to the micro movements of the head being anticipated by the player. Controller jitter is just as easy to see inside the headset. Really any jitter that you aren't directly causing is easy to detect, headset or otherwise.

500€ fun?

Anyone buying any VR device at launch knows what they're getting into. Simple games that bank on VR being a unique experience more than anything else.

I don't know why people are surprised when the games don't look particularly amazing, especially on a flat screen and watching someone else play.

But this seems like jitter HE is causing.

I'm not talking about tracking related issues here.

When I demoed PSVR in EB Games I had the jittery issues too.

It stopped happening when the camera was re-positioned away from the window. Turned out the lights were reflecting off the glass and confusing the camera. They have some bright multi-colored lights in the studio, I wonder if it's caused by that.

If that's your argument they could literally sell anything at any price. I get what you're saying but come on.
