Because they still install the Live Area to the system, so you can check leaderboards and other stuff even when the cart is not in.

good version of umvc3. showed off the vita exclusive hit-box enabled replays (omg). no heroes and heralds mode, although that might be forthcoming(?). the optional touch controls are lulzy as fuck.
