i really don't like this trend of TNTs consistently being <2 hours. i never thought they were too long before, infact some of the best stuff was near the end of them.

but it seems like i am the only one who thinks this :(

I think TNTs should be as long as they want them to be. Sometimes they seemed so bored after 90mins.

If they decide that's enough, then I'm okay with it. I don't think it should be a set length because we'll get the best results that way.

yea, i dunno what's up but they seem to end them way too early at the new place.

they used to pop in random games if they're bored with the featured games. maybe Jeff should have a copy of MK9 lying around for impromptu matches.

As someone who hosts and edits a podcast recorded over Skype (and an avid listen to the Player One Podcast) I'd say a lot of what makes a show like that work is how comfortable those talking are with each other and editing. There's always going to be awkward pauses and such, just because of delays or people being wary of talking over each other. That stuff is easily rectified with a bit of editing.

I'm hoping the Flight Club video isn't live today. I'm not going to be around at that time and I'd like to watch it sometime this weekend. Archives of live Friday videos don't typically get posted until the following week.

A localization company in Japan. Those guys make a podcast everyweek about Japanese games.

Like I said in the other message, I never really listen to them (don't care much personnally for Japanese games) but I keep hearing about it in all the "Best podcasts" threads.

Btw, if you haven't seen it, they visited the 8-4 studio back in October 2008

Sounds like a great fit for giantbomb. Can someone recommend a good episode to listen to?

Oh, WOW.

Wish they made Flight Club stickers! That's a beaut of a logo.

When I heard 8-4 was leaving 1up for another site, I was worried it was going to be Polygon. Now that it's confirmed to be GB, I am happy.

8-4 podcast is great when you want to listen to some serious games discussion that tends to focus more on Japanese titles.
