Not a fan of the new player :( (and those pre-video ads.. oy)

Also, has anyone else noticed that there's been something odd about scaling to fullscreen with their embedded video for a while now? The issue seems to include the new player as well as the old youtube stuff. It's like something they're doing with embedded version of the players is preventing flash from using hardware for scaling - no matter what resolution the videos download at they look awful when viewed in fullscreen. There's a marked bump in quality when viewed directly on youtube's site.

edit: I noticed their Youtube channel's still being updated with the new videos
 
My experience with the new player has been... suboptimal, seeing how no video actually loads and the site only sits there, mocking me with its black, blank screen.
 
Videos start at 360p regardless if I select HD.
When I switch to 720p the Tera QL won't load, which is probably the same problem I had with the old player where it wouldn't play larger videos in progressive mode. Which is now an actual problem since...
There is no streaming. Streaming is progressive.

Fix this shit, top men.

Watching the Minecraft QL, I'm sure Ryan will make a stupid comment about Minecraft being a game about nothing.

Fucking this. The HTML5 players is USELESS to me because of this.

It's because the new I Love Mondays aren't as good. I don't even bother any more, it's not the same without the intro, the song and the video clips. So far ILM has been the greatest casualty in the hostile CBSi takeover.

I like the new ones, it's a bit of "how the sausage is made" behind-the-scenes footage.

The new player doesn't seem to take into account anything you select before you hit play (except the YouTube and HTML5 options I assume), I assume that'll get fixed though. I didn't have any problems with it when I tried it earlier personally.

I voted Paul and Adam in the latest one. I like Norm but his contributions to the Bombcast aren't terribly memorable, and that goes triple for Bobby. Although he goes on about iOS a bit, I do like Paul (also he's British so I feel like I have no choice here) and Adam is always a hoot.

I'm really looking forward to the DayZ video. Game is great and incredibly interesting in the way Vinny and Drew would presumably get. Though the GB community bailing in and spamming their memes is something I'm looking less forward to. Take the good with the bad.

He is really cool. I met him briefly the day the video game case was heard at the supreme court and he was a super friendly guy.
 
LOL @ Vinny trolling Brad. "Hey, your Minecraft castle would look better with stone blocks instead of cobblestone" So Brad of course does what Vinny says and replaces every single block hahaha.
