Was it on 1up Yours that Davison brought up his divorce and how the games press was partially responsible for that happening?

Wow, which episode was that?

Feel like Mass Effect 3 will the be the first time in a long time all the guys are playing a new release at the same time. Should be a good podcast next week. It could also be a terrible podcast if it is full of "when is this generation going to end" and "everything is amazing and no one is happy" rather then, you know, thoughtful criticism of the game.

I hope they do a spoilercast. Its been too long since I got one.

Anyway, congrats Ryan!

Keep in mind that with GDC most of them probably aren't currently playing any games, so I doubt most them will finish ME3 any time soon. By the time they all do so, I'm willing to bet they'll consider it too late to bother with one.

They've had at least one copy for about 2 weeks at this point, so there's a chance someone other than Jeff could've played it at this point.

All of the crew's Steam and XBL profiles are public and fully viewable online and through the GB site. You can see what they've played, when, what achievements they got, etc. if you're curious.

This. All of these IPs feel old.

And every single one of them is all but guaranteed & confirmed to have "new trilogies" coming over the next generation. Whoopie!

Annual Forza. Annual Assassin's Creed. More annual Call of Duty. A new Mass Effect trilogy. A new Halo trilogy. A new Gears of War trilogy. More Fable games....

Weren't a bunch of people on twitter bitching that EA wanted them to play ME3 offline so outlets wouldn't know who did and didn't get a copy from achievements? I guess that was a different game

Pretty sure they have separate profiles for reviewing some games, since they'll be under embargo and what not. Especially if they have it a couple of weeks ahead of time like ME3.

Anyway, was just saying someone other than Jeff could easily have played it. They got multiple copies of SSX so it could've been the same for ME3. I imagine Jeff won't be on this weeks Bombcast, so I imagine the ME3 talk will be minimal either way.

We are creatively bankrupt.

Oh, I have no idea if the ME3 review copies have achievements. I'm just stating that in the past, some review copies don't have them.

I think if they gather who they have to do a live ME3 quicklook today (there has been no talk about this, total speculation on my part based on past high-profile releases!) it increases the odds that other people have the review copy. If they don't, it'll either indicates everyone's at GDC or that Jeff has the only copy.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by all the hate-filled comments over the Mass Effect 3 review. Still, they're making for an enjoyable read in-between classes!

A lot of reviews copies are using debug code that you must play on a test kit or a dev kit. Those consoles are not connectected to Xbox Live (not the retail version of it anyway).

Just saw this on the front page

6/5 11:00PM Live E3 2012: Day 1 Live Bombcast!
Get ready guys

I sent Patrick a private message yesterday, on Giant Bomb, about something I felt might be worth posting on the site but, after I sent it, I immediately felt bad about it. It probably wasn't all that news worthy. I feel like I became one of those crazy people they talk about that contacts them about issues they've heard about a million times.

I loved the part of the Microsoft event video where Brad took a snack and Jeff was all like: "Ok, now you can't review a Microsoft game for the coming 18 months". :D

Are they doing a regular Bombcast today? In the past they've done huge GDC live podcasts but it seems like they're not doing that this year.

I wouldn't be too down on myself, they rely on people to bring stuff to their attention.

Is BitMob even still around? When Giant Bomb would talk openly about their struggles, being the best web site in the history of the internet, I looked at BitMob and said "well damn... these guys have NO chance."

So what's the story behind this tweet from Jeff:

Jeff Gerstmann said:
Sounds like I dodged a bullet by missing that EA event. Were they just taking out their anger at the SimCity leak on the attending media?
