I really hope the interview yesterday will inspire Dave to bulk up. I love the guy, but damn he just looks pathetic on Jeff's shirt in that interview video. I get concerned because these guys aren't in their invincible early-20s anymore. They are in their late-30s now and approaching an age where you become more vulnerable to beatdowns and back pains. Maybe I just care too much? I don't know. But I wish Dave would take bulk up. Hardcore Dave should actually, you know, be hardcore

What the giantbomb members needs to stop with is talking about facial hair when Patrick is around. You can see the tears building up in him every time he sits there in couch with them, completely out of the conversation. Hurts me to see it.

I just hope this new change doesn't mean less fan interaction. They've always been really great at interacting with the community and it's definitely a big reason why they have such a loyal following. I imagine that with this new change they're going to receive an influx of traffic and fans so that might change the relationship with their community a little bit. Glad I got to see them at PAX Prime 2011 for the Live podcast and I hope they continue to do that.
I don't think it's creepy to care about the well being of someone whose work you enjoy. Especially when that person works to maintain a relationship with their audience that is based on a semi-personal level. They talk pretty openly about their personal lives and hobbies and their personalities are a key selling point for them because of how easily their audience relates to them due to their interests. Certainly this can result in some unhealthy-like attachment from some... but if it weren't for the random weirdos we wouldn't get gems like this.
Edit: Also... if we're comparing stories then I got you guys beat... I talked to Vinny for nearly half an hour about video junk in person >_>...
