Not a single spider or piece of mold either
I don't know about this...
Black Mold and Giant Spider signed a deal with Police Siren after it left Idle Thumbs. They will be starting their own podcast via Kickstarter.

Outrageous. I bet the next food talk will be about something they ate with forks and knives.
They've got a plant. A fuckin' plant!

Sad and kind of awkward that the host of Gamespot's podcast is laid off the at the same time the Giant Bomb guys first need to use the podcast studio there.
Magrino said some weird shit from time to time, but he seemed like a good guy and was definitely passionate about gaming and podcasting. I hope he lands a new gig somewhere else soon.
They're going to walk into work in suits and ties and talk about the cars they bought for their houses.
You're joking, but watch what Ryan does from here on out.
Wasn't that the same studio that they did The Hotspot in originally anyway?
Um, will it be not that? It's fucking Ryan. :lol
Yes. Ryan "Delusions of Grandeur" Davis.
He was a good host but I liked the guy before him more, more down to earth.
Don't think so. At least Jeff said something like "I don't even know where they do podcasts" like it had changed from back then.
What the fuck. I literally can not imagine him with long pants. At all.I prefer to know him as Ryan "Never Not Wearing Shorts" Davis.![]()
@jeffgerstmann: All up in the podcast studio. Same room we used to use. Weird! http://t.co/C9nNh94D

I should really listen to one of those "bet of the hotspot" things someone made. I havent listened to the hotspot since Vinny left to go to GB and I never relisten to anything.
He's older now. That tends to happen.I just listened to the new This Year of Hotspot. Jeff is like a different person on the Hotspot, so much more energy, way goofier. It makes Bombcast Jeff sound like a different person. It's kind of weird.
He's older now. That tends to happen.
It's been 4 1/2 years. Over that time Jeff probably took on a lot more direct responsibilities heading Giant Bomb. That kind of thing will quickly change someone's general demeanor. Even if Jeff is less constantly goofy and loud he seems a lot more confident now.It could be aging, but we're not talking a long period of time here, just a couple of years. Ryan Vinny and Brad are virtually unchanged now compared to back then. It's so weird to think of Vinny as podcast host now.
Pss, guys. Bombcast is up.

Jeff still has a wii

I don't think enough of their audience wants to see them review a JRPG like that for them to feel obligated to play through a 100+ hour game for review.
You could probably say the same thing about Persona 4 before the ER.
Again, Persona 4 is funny/charming. Xenoblade is just a good game. It's not quirky or funny.I don't know why you guys think they'll cover Xenoblade past a quick look. Jeff's said time and time again that Rhythm Heaven's the last Wii game worth playing, and no one has said, 'But what about Xenoblade or Last Story?'
That seemed to me like he was giving it to Brad to review. But honestly, who cares? Their reviews are the least interesting original content on Giant Bomb for me.
