I'd like to think of it less cynically and say the release on Xbox 360 brought it back to their attention. They initially messed around with it early during the alpha before it was fully featured and gave up on it. The 360 release gave them an excuse to check it out again now that it's complete.

I don't know, maybe you're right. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
 
Disappointed I didn't get to see DayZ, but seeing Vinny turn to minesweeper was worth it, hahahaha

They should try DayZ again after they've updated and not streaming. The serves are already getting hammered without their exposure and they'll have an easier time getting in game and staying alive longer on their own. Though the community in the game has seemed to shift since even a week ago. They kept trying to reconnect in the same bad server over and over again because they didn't realize it just wasn't working. When they exited you could see nobody had any kills, so obviously something was going wrong. It's not their fault, but it's hard to know that without experience playing it. An alpha of a mod with a giant landmass that has to be played slow and deliberate doesn't lend itself at all to live streaming unless you're grouped up or have some idea of what you're doing (and actually know you can get it running).
 
OK, I just saw the Day Z stuff.

I need this to become a constant thing. I need either a TNT with the flight club or another episode or something.
 
Oh man, I don't think I could handle this game. Someone has done very, very right in making a zombie game if you feel more nervous about a human approaching you than a zombie.
 
Just caught up on what I missed after they stopped Day Z... wasn't much.

Shame that people ruined this. I wonder if it was premium if it would have helped.

I don't understand the desire to follow them everywhere to desperately play with them.
 
That's why a TNT of DayZ would be a bad idea... people will creep up on them and ruin the fun of everyone - unless they manage to get a private server or something.

Yeah, interesting game but doing a TNT like that was just asking for Bandit Jerks to mess everything up.

Haven't watched the video yet, but between the comments here and on that video, it sounds like this should be something that they record in secret and then put up, in order to be able to see the game "in the wild" as it were.

I think things like this work best if the other players don't know who they are.

I mean, at the GB site, you have people saying that they should do it again, but get a giant posse and just kill everyone. What would the point of that be? Better to play the game straight, as it's supposed to be played.
 
Well it doesn't help that most of the time they were having trouble with servers and mainly just hugging the coastline trying to find each other, not going to the more interesting locales like the cities.

Just discovered I can't scrub to the middle of a video until it loads that far now. I was fine with the new player until now.

Actually one of the other goons suggested that their original plan was to fix up a car and drive up to Vinny to take him out or take him hostage (lol) but one of them got lazy and just sniped them.
