It's very difficult to play these games under the conditions they play them in. I'd like to see some of the people commenting in here play games while maintaining a stream-of-consciousness audio feed as well as respond intelligibly to someone asking you questions at the same time.
Unless you are a multi-tasker-supreme it is super difficult. Hell, my friends know the most surefire way to make me screw up in local multiplayers is to talk to me, my game goes immediately to shit as I am squarely in the single-tasker camp.
The fact that Brad's in such a high SC2 bracket should speak volumes.

I'm downloading DF right now and I'm going to play along with the video tutorials by captnduck.
I was looking at the O'Reilly website and there's a code for 50% off if you buy from them. Has anyone bought the digital version? I'm honestly tempted because the author has said that the first revision is going to come out in a month and you get free digital updates every revision.
I'm just wondering how it'll work with my kindle. All the comics/graphics and stuff. Or at least I could load it onto my Fire, which could be better.

Wow, that's really awful to hear. I live in Chicago, and my girlfriend has a lake house near Lake Geneva, it really is a wonderful place. I'm glad that his father was at least somewhere he loved when the time came.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a parent. My condolences go out to Patrick and his family. The tweet makes it sound like it may not have been completely unexpected. I hope they had an opportunity to prepare and come to terms with the loss.
