I think Scoops should see if he could track down a copy of White Day and apply the English patch. It's really creepy, especially after you get up to the 2nd floor. :/

I feel like Corpse Party would be a good suggestion, but I felt like the horror aspects came from the binaural audio more than anything else (not necessarily atmosphere). The seiyuu did a really good job in that game. I don't think it would be a good game to stream for atmospheric horror aspects like the other games seem to be.

"I DON'T WANNA BE HERE ANYMORE!"

This is going to sound really obscure, but what the hell - I was just watching one of the early 'best of Quick Look' compilations on YouTube and it reminded me there's a QL or something where Vinny like really, really loses it. Probably the hardest I remember him laughing in any piece of content. Trying to remember now what the game/moment was, but I'm totally drawing a blank. Any guesses?
It was the Rabids video where they make those crazy sounds. Ryan even asks Vinny, "Are you okay?" Vinny responds, "I don't know."

Yesterday I noticed that when I type 'Cunt' on my phone, one of the suggested words is 'Vinny'.

My phone is a duder.

Might have been, now that I think of it. Either Poker or maybe 'that' scene from Phantasmagoria. I just remember him laughing super, super hard.
Outcast, Police Quest: SWAT and the first Wipeout QL are the ones I remember Vinny loosing it pretty badly. In the SWAT game he almost died.

Six minutes in. It's the BEST.

Anybody remember the program Scoops was talking about during Spookin' that allows you to play Windows games on Mac without having to install windows and dual boot?

EDIT: Remembered it. Crossover for those curious.

How many of those compilations are there? I want to see them all lol

Sounds like Rabbids in Time, I think.

Disappointed TNT is a double one yet again. Although the quality of TNT varies, when there's two games it's really not starting from a strong position. It's better with them focusing on one game rather than awkwardly switching between the two.

It's way too cluttered, also. A 720p video is already looking a bit messy when you pop their heads on it, but when you shrink one game and then impose another below it then it's hard to follow either.

They really need to just stop it and put TNT back to one game.

Seriously. If they must do two games then book-end them but this business with doing two at once is a clusterfuck.

Yeah I don't like it either. I would totally watch a War of the Roses TNT with Drew and a Trials TNT with Brad. Two full length, but not at the same time, since both seem very entertaining to watch.

I love the dual TNTs, keeps one game from getting boring fast. Always thought those were the best TNTs and want them to continue with it.

I honestly think they should just take a step back and decide if they even want to keep doing TNT in it's current form, it is starting to feel kinda like Happy Hour was before they stopped those where they were just kinda going through the motions. Maybe just do an hour of retro game playing each Thursday or something, especially since Ryan has some 200-odd Nintendo tapes coming to him.

No. Every time something interesting happened, or Drew was explaining something, there was "OH WAIT CUT BACK TO X" interruption. It's bad.

I like dual TNT's where one game get's more attention than the other.

A quick pop in to another game is always fun when something get's boring.

Example: Cards Against Humanity and Star Trek MMO

That sounds fun.

Dual TNTs are usually pretty bad because one guy is usually cast off to the second couch and neglected for a lot of the time. See: Jeff in DOA5 and Borderlands 2.

My problem with TNT is that the core concept (them taking time to interact more directly with their fans in multiplayer games) isn't as appealing to me as, say, a quick look or them messing around with a local co-op game. I only visit GiantBomb to listen to their perspectives and to be entertained, as opposed to using the database and the forums or whatever. On the other hand, I'm not their entire audience, and there are surely parts of the GiantBomb community that appreciate the chance to play online with them.

I don't even know if having much of a structure for their streaming content is a good thing. Maybe they should just have a "we're live streaming something every Thursday night" feature that could accommodate different types of shows. Maybe one night it's them playing through a giant pile of retro games (like darkressurection suggested). Maybe one night it's a scrub-league type thing. Maybe one night they just sit around and have an informal, Jar-Time type of discussion about a niche topic that interests them (I *loved* their talk with Drew about visiting North Korea). Who knows.

Obviously, we need a TNT with Jeff playing Trackmania whilst the others play a board/card game, again.

It's about time we got a DnD TNT. That shit would be hilarious.

I agree, I think the "Hey we will do something on Thursday" approach would be better. I liked the TNT's when they started (Hell I managed to play in a bunch of the early ones) but when I though about it I couldn't really find what the draw for participating was. They don't wear a headset so they aren't communicating with the players, which is probably for the best anyway. So when it comes down to it, it really is just "Well my gamertag was on a GB stream!" which is cool once or twice but not really a great reason to participate.

Then on the other end you have the guys participating where one of them is trying to split attention between playing and being entertaining on stream, while the other one is just reading that chat. The only part of TNT that draws me in is really just that I treat it as a bonus bombcast since I mostly just put it on in the background and listen to it while I do other stuff.

I will say in favor of TNT, that Jeff fucking destroying me in UMK3 was pretty cool.

I enjoyed this week's TNT, particularly with Dave around it felt like getting an extra podcast. TNT tends to vary wildly in quality, though.

I'd definitely be okay with the guys just live streaming whatever they want each Thursday rather than feeling like they have to stick to a general format, with multiplayer shows every now and then for big multiplayer releases or multiplayer releases that they're interested in. Hell, I'd even totally be down with them bringing in Tony and Sara for some shenanigans if they had some ideas (though I know the GB chat was always hostile towards the comic segments during Happy Hour back in the day :( ), I miss that Whiskey family feel.

That's why I end up watching TNT. At the very least, they shoot the shit about games and Vinny works some tricaster magic. It would be nice if Vinny had a mic to participate in the conversation but he speaks through his transitions.

Vinny and Drew's work on the Burnout Paradise TNT should go in a hall of fame somewhere.

One thing you can never criticise TNT for nowadays is predictability. This latest one had Dave, Ryan, Patrick, Brad and Drew. The games were a medieval sim and a 2D motorbike obstacle course game. There was multiplayer between the GB guys, multiplayer with the community, and single-player with Brad "Mad" Shoemaker. We went to the moon, saw a giant pen drawing a bike track, watched a man chase down a horse and immediately fall off it due to sword-related issues and to top it all off a guy in a luchadeer mask shuffled back and forth to some catchy music.

I go to TNT for madness, and it never disappoints

Double TNT is bad but adding those two would be torture ;) Will Smith is what we need, not those boring, personality void people.

Even Whitta is better than them with Kessler being on par :P
