I like the HTML5 player for the most part, but damn I can't stand how you can't see how long a video is in there/how much time is left of it.

Yeah definitely a drawback but I think it's better than the trade offs you have to deal with when you use the flashplayer, at least last time I used it.

It's not even that... The capture equipment is not available for sale. When you see direct feed it's using a dev kit which journalists can't get.

Forget the vita - I wonder if they plan to do WiiU quicklooks. Assuming Nintendo even provides capture equipment, how would it even work with the two screens. I don't think the 3DS solution would work well but there aren't many other options

They can capture the TV signal through HDMI just like 360/PS3 but they can't capture the gamepad unless they have an official capture kit.
