Giant Bomb Thread The Third: #TeamBrad

As a person who has a lot of journalist friends, Patrick's political tweets didn't really bother me at all.

His tweets of support for the Bears, however.... those are unconscionable.

Lions fans here... unfortunately.

God a temp unfollow would be awesome. I remember having to unfollow like 20 people when Sword and Sworcery came out, and journos were tweeting about it/from it something like 10 times an hour.

Get tweetdeck and and it to the filter list. I use it when any apple product is announced.

Don't really feel like re-subbing right now. I guess I should watch the Blade Runner video to change my mind or something.

Then thats software not hte games fault.

So it would be the HARDware then?

Sounds like previous dance central games were fine, curious to see if Jeff figures anything out though. He at least said on the bombcast he wouldn't give up on it until he figured out why it was so screwed up for him (and seemingly not for anyone else).

Hey guys I have a question. Not really GB related but it's Bombcast related... Anybody knows a good podcast software for windows ? I'm getting really tired of iTunes and all the crap..

Just subscribe to the respective RSS feed and manually put the MP3s on whatever device you want to listen to them.

My "Fuck Ryan Davis" shirt showed up just now.

You know buying this was hilarious at the time but now I trying to figure out when I can wear this. PAX?

Guys, I was looking through something and found this picture again:

Can we agree that is the worst facial hair ever? I like him but it annoys me every time he's on a video. It's just SO awful I can't imagine why he keeps it. He might not be a good looking fella but he's ruining his own chances with those goddamn sideburns.

It makes Jeff's moustache look good. I mean, goddamn it's bad.

That's all.
How dare you.

I can't help but feel like people are always trying to put on a show when they're playing Slender. I mean, if that's what scares the shit out of you then power to you, but turning around and seeing someone stopped being scary after stuff like Ju-On got popular.

I was pleased with this episode. Also I feel like it's a good thing he's streaming now even though he doesn't yet have all the kinks down and has a shitty (for gaming and streaming) laptop to do it with. Was tons of fun :-)

I was slightly disappointed with Jeff's encyclopedia stuff earlier this week since I feel like if you are going to record footage of every game ever made it should be done with slightly higher standards in terms of video and audio. Better mic, better web cam and I'd be happy with it but that's just me. If I were to do this I'd make sure the quality of the content is high in all aspects since it's supposed to be something to last forever and have some academic cataloging value as well. But as a consumer of this content I was still very happy with it and it served my interest in it perfectly. It's just that the OCD scientific-way-to-do-things part of my brain gets a little annoyed this undertaking wasn't started with a little more to the quality of it.

Patrick stream was good. Much better than the BLLSL, which was really really bad. I feel like Jeff's new feature would be vastly improved with the simple inclusion of an introduction video clip or something, maybe akin to the intro to WUTANG? Finally, I wish in the site redesign, they introduce tagging or something for content. I'd like to see readily all quicklooks featuring Jeff, or all podcasts that talk about Mass Effect 2, or something. There's a lot of moments where I think "what was the quicklook/podcast where they mentioned X" and I have no way to figure out what it was because the descriptions are so short and vague.

Just my three cents.

I think things may get better in time. Jeff mentioned on the Bombcast this week that future episodes may feature the rest of the crew, so I would assume that means an eventual shift to them being recorded in the office (and by extension, with better production values).

While I won't really apologize for expressing my opinions about politics, I *do* wish twitter had a temporary unfollow option. A pure follow/unfollow model doesn't really work.

That would be awesome actually. I hate when someone does a live blog of a TV show right on their Twitter, and I have to sift through a hundred tweets.

Anyways, re-followed! :D

I was hoping Turbo16 would have its own segment on Friday. But I'll take it.

One thing Vinny needs to know: NO MORE SPLIT SCREEN. Not fun to watch when they keep changing the focus. If you do split screen, make the screens the same size.
