Oh man, thin on the content this week. Hopefully they'll at least QL Far Cry 3 this week.
Well, jack and shit is coming out until next year (except Far Cry 3). Seems like a good time for Random PC game or revisiting older games they missed.

They said they were gonna do a QL for Far Cry 3 in this weeks I Love Mondays, but Ryan, Patrick and Jeff were out of the office so they couldn't really plan much.

That was so great. I like watching Jeff play games while he and others talk about weird facts about the game, developers, companies, or even their experiences surrounding the game.
At this point it's so rare for the majority of GB to have all played the same game in a timely fashion, that I'd take whatever spoilercast I can get. Can't even remember the last one they did...

Now admittedly I don't know the details of what it takes to run a site, or the specifics of what these guys do on a day-to-day basis, but to me this isn't a good excuse. Sure, it makes sense for why there isn't Far Cry 3 or PlanetSide 2 QLs, but what about... Killzone HD? The new Ratchet game? Fifa? When Vikings Attack? Wonderbook?
In my opinion, there have only been two Spoilercasts; MGS4 in 08, and MW2 in 09. I don't think the short talks with the developers of Portal 2 or Mass Effect count.

Nah, it's legit. If someone from Gamespot said that, then yeah, the size of their team means the excuse wouldn't fly.
But what attracts so many people to GB is the tight crew, but that means taking the good with the bad. Sometimes something as small as getting a PC working can occupy one of the only two available editors - and you can't exactly have the other editor shoot a QL on their own.

They really liked Fable 2. It's part of why they were so disappointed in Fable 3.
How long does it take to wipe and reinstall an OS? Do you have to sit there and monitor it?

I sort of remember him ripping on Homefront after it showed up in his GameFly queue. Because, you know, it's fucking Homefront.
Set Phasers on Fun was what got me into watching their video content. Before then I would only listen to the Bombcast occasionally.
I played Homefront for just an hour because of the trial thing that PS+ offers.
I liked it.

You know, I didn't get to this part in my hour, and I was ready to hate it as I clicked the youtube link, and again I wasn't appalled. I mean, the spoiled part is laughably bad, and seemingly attempts to ruin the effect that they were going for, as does the one character asking "what!?" like three times, but overall I don't find this objectionable. I think it's a good idea that isn't executed very well, but isn't awful either. *shrug*
Maybe I'm just giving the game a bit of a pass because so many people have talked about it as if it's the worst piece of shit ever, and then every time I see it I go "hey... that's not so bad at all!"
