Hey lets post creepy GB photohsops.
They should swap an editor out for a video editor. It's like 5 dudes to 2 (+ LtSquigs).
All I'm hearing is "I hate Giant Bomb, less content."
If you don't want to partake in this discussion, then just don't post.
From what I can gather, most of the people who are complaining here are OK with their output. They just think GB could do a little more.
You need to clean your ears. Like this guy.

I'm sure there's an explanation to why there was a lack of content last week. Someone should ask on Jeff's Tumblr what they were doing last week, and why on some weeks there is a lack of content without a known explanation. Then we can all shut up.

Haha, that's the exact OPPOSITE of an excuse. If there are no games coming out, they're not playing any of them for review, which frees up even more time.

These guys aren't running for office. I think you have to accept that Giantbomb will not always be posting content at a consistent rate. Sometimes there's more videos than we can handle, and sometimes there's fewer. If you want a stable stream of premium videos, then don't re-sub next time. You know, speak with your wallet.

FWIW, I and others agreed with Netbuff and the discussion turned on him when he continued to blow the issue out of proportion on multiple pages, especially after Brad said it was something thatd be gone when the redesign went up.

I didn't appreciate it at the time, but now I realize that i liked this thread way better when Brad was here pondering his mortality. It was sad in a good way, whereas this shit right now is sad in the worst possible way.

In what reality is wishing for more premium content being a self-entitled prick?
Haven't visited this thread in a while, glad(?) to see things haven't changed.
For lack of content, I've given up griping only because when they do it right they still knock it out of the park (Euro Truck was fantastic). I still dream of a TV network-like program schedule rotation of premium features throughout the week, but ah well. Hopefully things will start looking up once the site redesign is finally done - at least in terms of getting more Random PC Games with Dave hopefully having more time.
On a side note, it'd be cool if Jeff could do some kind of 'state of the union'-like radio Dave as it's soon coming up on a year since the buyout, just to see where things are headed in 2013.

It's premature to get all worried about the level of output from GB this year. The most reasonable explanation for why there wasn't as much content this week is that they spent a lot of time planning out new features (such as the one coming up on Friday) and how to revise old features. Jeff said they were going to do this in a recent Jar Time. Also, the process of getting ready to launch the new website is most likely consuming more of everyone's time.
I'll admit, after the great week they had starting the year in a skeleton crew, I was a bit disappointed in the quality and quantity of the output this past week, as I'm sure many people were, if the recent reaction in this thread is anything to go by. But they have valid reasons why that would be the case.
That's worth remembering for those that have been disappointed with GB's output since the CBS acquisition. For much of last year, they had a bottleneck with video production due to CBS not getting GB the equipment they needed, which has been resolved. Now they have a new website going up, which takes a lot of time from everyone as it gets closer to launch, as well as effectively making Dave unavailable for months. That should be done in a couple weeks.
After that, they have nothing big holding them back from producing the content that they want to. If, a few weeks after the website is up, content output is still lackluster, then their customers would be entirely justified in raising some hell. At that point, the only obstacle to great quantities of quality content would be the drive and imagination of the GB staff. But doing so before they have the ability to purely focus on content creation just makes the GB staff less likey to listen when the criticism would be totally justified. What has been going on in this thread is largely a case of boys crying wolf.
One last thing: GB needs to find a way to decouple its output level from what is in the upcoming release schedule. It's fine to cover new games and play them in TNT, but when that well of new games dries up, it isn't acceptable for them to throw their hands up and say, "Nothing we can do! No new games!" when people are paying them $50 a year. There are plenty of good ideas to fill that void left by a lack of new releases with good content.
