Man, Its probably just the lights, but DAMN, CBSi should get the giantbomb guys a makeup lady.

Dude, I know how this starts. Then she starts reviewing games, appears in a couple of quick looks, and before you know it she's on the Bombcast and every Quick Look is Patrick/Makeup Lady.

USB to Ethernet adaptors exist?!? The fuck? I have to buy a pair just for the sake of it.

Also, from now on all I'm going to be able to think about is this equipment/effort every time they QL some garbage game that probably cost less to make than this entire studio.

If they put that up on the site, they better mix the audio first, I NEED to hear the secrets of the universe that Vinny said while muted.

I appreciate what they do way more now. And I understand why the live shows may be late. I'd love to see more behind the scenes of how Giant Bomb functions.

Jeff should bring a camera to his meetings.

Yeah, this gives me a new appreciation for what Vinny and Drew do.

I always assumed there was a lot of maintenance during a stream, but never that much prep work its impressive.

They should do behind-the-scenes everything imo. It would help alleviate a lot of the why aren't they doing more complaints people have. Supposedly getting preview access, securing review copies, and meetings take up way more time then we could imagine. Doing something like this stream just now should change a lot of people's perception if its well done.

Brad had to have told the rest of the guys about the lack of premium content complaints in this thread. Seems like they've been churning 'em out since then.

i assume that's more with Jeff. he lurks here and has more power to request more premium content.

Yes, it was this thread that got them to output premium content this week. Well done people.

I'd be shocked if Brad wasn't steering clear of Internet forums this week after his DmC review, to be honest.
Personally i agree with his review and his 2012 top pick, it's a personal opinion.

I would hope he doesn't care what a bunch of butthurt internet trolls think

Judging by his tumblr, I'd agree. There have been a few recent questions where he seemed to throw in some premium content references almost out of nowhere. And in another response, he pretty much broke down his entire workday and the meetings he attends.

Couple that with this BTS live stream, and it becomes a not-so-subtle "guys, we've got a lot of shit going on, but we know what we're doing. trust us".

Or could just be a coincidence.

We can hope.

Actually going back to that, if what we saw was the case, I don't think that they could really do that. All three ways they had to archive were just captures of the live output from the tricaster (and the last one was from the output to the stream I guess if you want to be technical). So they wouldn't ever really be able to freely mix channels. The best they could do would be something like get the track off music that was playing loudly and somehow try to negate it out from the one sound channel but that would be a stupid amount of work and complicated and probably wouldn't do anything and I also don't know what I'm talking about with it but I saw it once somewhere.

So if I understand it right, it's not going to happen sadly.
