Anyone else having issues with the video player? It keeps buffering for me. Only on Giant Bomb, I can stream 1080p elsewhere perfectly fine, Giant Bomb is only 720 isn't it?

I dig the setting but I think they should've done a lot more with it. Survivor management, territories, or at least some encounters that don't involve shooting everyone. Really play up the survival aspect or something.
I believe that has more to do with it being a Ubisoft game than anything else

The PSP was a great machine for many years particularly for RPGs, but the GB guys were already obsessed with the 360 and hooked on Achievements by 2006.
Coming to Geometry Wars late like I did really shows how the love for that game is largely based around the lack of quality games to play in the early months of the 360. It's a game that gets tiresome very quickly unless you're hell bent on beating your friends' high scores. I much preferred the variety in other twin stick shooters like Super Stardust HD.

Oh god this Gran Turismo segment.
Yeah, although rewatching it now the worst part of Genji 2 much more than the meme stuff is the cringe of the dude playing and talking so slowly and awkardly, well and the actual game running slow as molasses.
Also, I feel they're kinda underselling how impressive that Heavenly Sword demo looked.

Poor Genji 2, i remember playing the demo when i paid $600 (tax returns!) for my shiny PS3 and it was alright. It even looked kinda good for a launch window game. It at least didn't look like an upres'd ps2 game like resistance did

i never understood the argument that X game is better with friends.
can't one apply that argument to just about any game with a coop feature? I'm struggling to figure out what games with some sort of coop function in it is actually worse with friends.
