Pretty much, I find the repetition in the Division to be more uninteresting than the repetition in something like Diablo.

Yup, you could make some easy adjustments to make them more interesting but they didn't. The side stuff doesn't scale well, so if you don't do it right away it just is busy work later on. Making them more scalable, for potentially better rewards, would make them more interesting and challenging.

Yeah it's a shame they do not scale, seems like an oversight and I do not see a single reason they can't scale sidemissions, or at least Encounters.

Encounters are the least interesting part of the side content, them scaling would help a lot. At least it would make for an interesting quick combat encounter. The best side content are probably the bounties and the base attacks. Those two scaling would be great.

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
I feel like the Division is really suffering from it's "realistic" setting that's preventing more interesting enemies, abilities and weapons.

It's not so much an altitude issue than actual speed. They were still going way too fast.

That's another thing that bugs me with BEAST. They are convinced for some reason that they need to wait to the very last minute before opening the chute when in reality you can open it as soon as it's available. The drogue chute will open and the real one will open once they get to 1000.

On some level definitely, on another they have near future tech in there and then kinda don't do enough with it. Like only a couple of named rogue Agents use the abilities you do, or can hack your stuff. I wished the whole Last Man Battalion was full of rogue Agents, so you would have to deal with that stuff all the time.

There's a certain amount of irony in that several in here were awaiting with glee to see the meltdowns from a low Division score in the review thread, and yet it's this thread that is producing the tiniest bit of salt due to a higher than expected score.

And that's the last I'll say on the subject.

Maybe I can point to Jeff's review and convince my boring-ass friends to buy this game now. I really need some good co-op shooting action but none of them want to bite and I don't think I would enjoy this game by myself.

Those last few missions with the rogue agents were more enjoyable than any other mission in the game simply due to the fact that they were more fun to fight.

4/5 is mildly surprising but less so when you remember that Jeff often prioritizes asking himself "do I want to play more of this?" after finishing a game. He said he immediately uninstalled XCOM 2 after finishing the campaign, but it sounds like he's gonna be there on day one for the next few chunks of The Division content.

Haha, man I'm really tempted but I need to convince at least one buddy of mine first. If only that game wasn't so expensive and the only way to get it cheaper is not to buy it on Steam :/
