I would really rather they not get into stuff as recent as Mr. Caffeine in like, 2011. It's much more interesting watching older conferences and hearing what they have to say about those.
They also used him as the thumbnail for one of the live shows at E3 last year

I just audibly gasped as I read this and remembered. Fuuuuuuuuck
It's one of the most awkward things I've ever watched. Even the crowd and other presenters on stage start to turn against him

There's so, so many E3 moments from years past. Things that spring to mind:
- all of Konami 2010, of course
- Miyamoto's Wiimote+ refusing to co-operate in 2010, that was very, very hard to watch
- great job, jeremy
- PEGGLE 2!
- the Microsoft 2010 Kinectathon, holy shit that was bad... or was that 2011? maybe 2012 too, basically whatever had Kinectimals and ESPN
- oh, and Usher
- and, of course, the greatest E3 moment of all time: NEVER

On a positive note, Nintendo E3 20...09? 10? Year with Galaxy 2 and, before we played it, Metroid Other M. Exciting after years of nothing and more nothing. Galaxy 2! Out of nowhere!

That year (2009) was pretty dull besides the surprise SMG2 and Other M reveals. It was 2010 where Nintendo had had enough of people's shit and put on their best show ever.
They should just rewatch Ubi's 2015 conference, if only for this highlight. Whatever, it's been almost a year. Time for a re-release I think. This is the videogame industry after all.
My favorite part about that was how the conference just started to go off the rails afterwards with the Just Dance guy either forgetting to speak or being so thrown off by what had just happened that he couldn't speak.

Wasn't it 2010 where they couldn't fit all the announcements into the conference, and just sorta let slip that we were getting Ocarina 3D and Paper Mario in the press materials afterwards?
Man, what I wouldn't give for a show like that this year.

I thought HOOP GAWD from last year was even worse than that AC cosplayer guy. Just so much wrong with that bit: the dude's attitude, the awkward fat joke, the presenter's insistence on continually referring to him as "Hoop God" or just "God"....ugh.

Well, the only 3DS game they formally revealed during the show was Kid Icarus Uprising... then we got the third-party commitments promising games like Assassin's Creed (lol), Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts. And then yeah we saw Nintendo's 3DS slate in a press kit, alongside "oh by the way, we're gonna remake MGS3!" (lol).
Basically, the Wii had a way better line-up for 2010 than you'd have imagined. That was the year of DKC Returns and Epic Yarn.

The wildest thing was at some point during the 24 hours that konami just kept relooping that conference, someone on gaf found alternate footage at a different angle that revealed he was actually a few feet away

Game's cool as hell so far. Feels like Hotline Miami meets Gunpoint and I really love how they dole out story bits between missions.
Didn't Dragon Age have that dude at the campfire who was solely there to be like "Hey wanna buy some DLC"?
