A little bit of trivia: "Marle" is an actual word in both English and Old French (the Modern French equivalent is marne/marner). The 'e' spelling is a lesser-used version of the word "marl". The Old French origin is "marle" (which is pronounced the same way since the 'e' is silent).I'm on the "Marl" train; always thought the 'e' was silent. "Mar-lee" does sounds nicer to the English speaking ear though, although if it was intended to be pronounced that way I don't know why they chose an 'e' instead of a 'y.'
Yeah, I guess you could say this factors in too. The first dialect of English I learned certainly wasn't Canadian English, and then I learned French at age 5 or 6, so the endless code-switching I do in real life messes with my pronunciation a bit in several languages. As a non-native English speaker, that's my stance.
It is so frustrating having them use Bobo all game and then not having him in the party for the desert quest. Another 15 mins of walking around doing nothing..didn't they realize with the rainbow shel/ghost quests that there are character specific quests.
Also I a few days ago I told myself once they got to Lara they will 100% not save her. Didn't let me down there.

I was disappointed that they didn'tsave Lucca's mom. To this day, that stands as being an emotional scene. It was well done. It's too bad they didn't read through those sheets of paper more thoroughly.
New Episode!

In which Ryan is still on a high from watching a How It's Made marathon.
Looks like Patrick started to parse out the way chests work.
It's kinda funny that they easily figured out the importance of choice in the Magus dialogue, but when you add in the instant gratification of a chest, it's ignored. Oh Chrono Trigger, you so tricky.
Patrick should have said "The future, Ryan?" when they ended the episode.
Missed opportunity.
Blew my mind when there were two Bobos on the same overworld. Didn't Doc Brown say that would cause some kind of catastrophe?
what does saying "no" do when trying to open those black chests?
If you go to the past and expose the chest to the pendant then say "no" you can then go into the future to open the chest and get an upgraded version of the item. Then you can go back to the past and take the item again.

That can be a fatal decision for some builds. Nova Armor is way better then Moonbeam Armor due to status immunity. It is integral especially for top-tier Crono builds. Siren's Kiss is better then Valkerye since it can inflict stop; which is more favorable then the useless damage increase (but why are you even attacking with Marle?). The Rainbow outclasses both Crono weapons immediately so no big deal there. Al the vest/mails are outclassed as well.Holy shit. I didn't know you could do that. I'll have to try that when I get around to playing the DS version.
They shouldn't have much more to go. 45-46 episodes when all is said and done, maybe?
Oops, my mistake on that part. But I guess the main point is that you don't gain anything from future jumping. In fact, I stopped doing it since it just wasted time and I knew Nova was all that was needed. That's probably why I forgot how it worked and my attention span is shit these days....couldn't you get both, and just use Nova over Moonbeam?
Still way better on Magus.I think what warms my heart the most about this recent episode was them abusing Luminaire with gold stud, EXACTLY AS I SUGGESTED in this thread a few pages back.
Haha. Ryan was going crazy with Luminaire today. I honestly can't blame him. It's a super effective tech. How can you say no to ultimate damage?
Chrono Trigger spoilerWhen they showed that human going down a conveyor belt in that one room, followed by a scream when inside that large machine, that was pretty damn unsettling. It's moments like those that make this game an emotional roller coaster ride, although maybe that's putting it strongly.
Someone needs to make a Ryan "god damn it" montage video, if one doesn't exist yet. It's needed.
"We did the ultimate damage on her legs."
