The gif was just a black screen.

I'm using the second program, the one for MAC, but I'm having a hard time properly looping them.

GAF isn't hosting the images, so it shouldn't be any more of a problem then any other thread.

It'll only become a problem if topics are being overloaded with GIFs. Not great for slower devices or those on limited bandwidth. But yes, GAF itself will be fine as it's not hosting these images.

Images don't cramp the server since they're external, but they can become annoying, and when something becomes annoying it gets killed.

I use Gimp to resize. Maybe that will work for what you need?

people are removing way to many frames in some of the gifs I have seen as well as not giving room for context of what is happening. The gifs either start to early and/or end too soon.
