I've made a decision:

1) ICO (My first PS2 game)

And my second game will be an RPG.

And strangely, Gamestop doesn't seem to have many of those Atlus RPG's everyone likes. I think I'll get Phantom Brave or Dark Cloud 2. I looked up the highest rated ones on IGN, and I have actually seen the FF games played. What I saw didn't really appeal to me as a gamer. I would buy more games, but I'm making a pretty big investment in the system itself. Maybe some other time. :/

Sorry if bumping this thread is annoying. I just want to make the right decisions.

I couldn't get into Dark Cloud 2. First of all I found it a bit boring, and then when I found out all the things you could do I actually found it pretty daunting. But it's a nice clean looking game which suits your graphical requirements. The graphics are really fine.

I've noticed a lot really love it though, so imo you should play the demo first to find out.

Play DMC before DMC 3, it's cheaper and easier to get into.

Sly Cooper was pretty good and I'd try Devil May Cry first.
