I've been watching this show on CBS since it first aired, and now it's suddenly been canceled. The premise is that an outspoken atheist (with a podcast) named Miles with a priest for a father in which he has a rocky relationship with - receives a friend request from a God account, and the chain of events that occurred afterwards resulted in friend suggestions for Miles so that he can change their lives in significant ways.
The season and series finale has Miles's sister being diagnosed with cancer and recovering from it, Miles hitting his head on a subway train (significant based off of fan theories that state he died on the train), and finding a new definition of "faith". The last scene is of him on a mountain in the Alps, followed by a little girl who she asks to go follow her, she states "she's waiting for you" - end series.
Thoughts on the series? Its cancelation?
