Show rosamund some more
Except for an extremely well paced movie with some great performances and a beautiful picture of life and youth. It could seriously not have the "gimmick" and be just as great.
Same deal as the Before trilogy.
This is one of the worst posts I've ever read
Must be practicing for his new movie
It's a Civil War role, apparently
You're so edgy hating on a great filmThe film with the 100% metacritic sure has enough stans in here. Zelda of film!
Knew it. He's going to get the Oscar too.
Is Theory of Everything even good?Everyone got fucking robbed, there.

It's not a movie, there's almost no plot to it. At this point people are just seeing what they want to see. It's almost just a bunch of random scenes thrown together and he called it a movie.
*birdmanBecause he isn't the goddamn Batman.
Let me guess, you didn't like it because "there was no plot."...you're so generic for loving a film with plenty of appraise. My god.
Exactly, If you take away the gimmick of being shot over years, you're not really left with much of anything.
Bears REPEATING.
The Globes are NOT a good predictor of Oscar odds.
Since when do movies need a plot to be considered movies?

He never even saw it - why argue with a certified troll?Let me guess, you didn't like it because "there was no plot."
They're running late. I guess affiliates have been getting pissed at these awards shows as of late.
Of course people are calling Boyhood a "gimmick" film. So predictable.
Because Richard Linklater is such a gimmicky director. GTFO with this nonsense.

Yep, this might be one of the worst posts I've ever read on this forum. Is Koyaanisqatsi not a film? Is something like The Trip not a film? It's not a movie, there's almost no plot to it. Welp, need to find time to watch it then.It is, actually.
Same. I was pulling for him even though I knew deep down he didn't have a chance. That category was incredibly tough. Would have given it to Jake personally.
He's not. That's why it was disappointing to a degree.
