The OST was so good. So many mammories. <3
but I suppose it's unfair to put this up against the nostalgia of Goldeneye 64. It looks like a solid game on it's own.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I HAVE NOT HEARD THAT IN YEARS MY MIIIIIIND IS OVERWHELMED WITH NOSTALGIA!!Snuggler said:Maybe I'm crazy, but the thing I'll miss most from the 64 game is the soundtrack. Edit: Amazing thread title.

Thread title is amazing by the way.

Nice. Will probably pick up if it has good word-of-mouth.richisawesome said:They're still in, along with a 'Classic Mode', which lets you play with the original N64 health meter and armour system.
That's not really what I meant. In the original most levels were more or less open areas where you had specific goals to complete; as the difficulty increased so did the number of objectives and the difficulty of each objective, as well as the actual difficulty of the AI. This lead to awesome stuff like completing a level but still failing, being careless and shooting someone you should be escorting/blowing up an item you need, etc.Penguin said:You know they have objectives and the likes, but don't know if they ever said you would automatically fail the level if you miss one.
And think first time actually posting in this thread. :lol

So no modifiers in random matches it seems. They could have worked I think if you could have voted on them the way you seem to be able to vote on maps. The modes do sound like fun though. Voice chat isn't a deal breaker for me. In fact I kind of like that you don't have it. 4v4 still seems somewhat low. Never played World at War on the Wii but can it be fun with that total number? Anyone have any opinion on that?

"XP will raise your level and with each milestone you'll unlock more abilities, modes, and modifiers. "
Though, 8 does seem pretty low. It was a slight problem in World at War Wii, but thats cause maps were so huge. It shouldn't be bad in Goldeneye though as long as the number of players is suitable for the map size.
The game supports a lobby system that utilizes Friend Codes, but for this online session we were simply jumping into games without the Friend Code system since the eight of us were the only ones on the server. My entire experience was through these random match-ups, so I don't have experience on how the lobbies work or whether you can add or change modifiers during these games. When you choose random match-ups, you're paired up with other players looking for that particular game mode, and before you jump in you can vote on one of two randomly selected maps by pushing left or right on the D-pad before the match begins.
