Now thats awesome. 1080 snowboarding is pretty sweet too. At this rate I'll never have to hook up my n64 ever again.

Nice! Looking forward to Xbox/PC versions hitting as well.
There is no PC version. Just a 360 version that was never released due to licensing. The studio that made that version and it's source code does not exist anymore. But you can emulate both the N64 and the 360 version on PC.

So the Xbox version should happen now right? Or have the rare Devs really only made it for themselves to play? :p

Maybe they have a remake/remaster in works? It was one of the most iconic games that generation along with MGS, RE, Zelda OOT etc and it took 1st person shooters to another level for consoles.

I really hope this is the "next" n64 switch online game, but Im gonna even double dip and get it on xbox, I dont even care.

Cool stuff. I'm actually more happier for Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, but this one its just as good.

excited for the n64 updates

But can we all be honest that we are going to fuck with goldeneye multiplayer for two matches and admit it's zero fun to play today

I really wasn't into the redone models of the leaked 360 version so hopefully the Switch version is just a straight up port of the N64 version.

After all the hype, making it seem like this was going to be a remake of the original with the same core gameplay (which would've been pretty awesome), if it's literally just a re-release, maybe not even barely a remaster, of the 1997 game? 😬

I mean for the Switch that may be passable but for Xbox? Nah. Not with the way insiders were hyping this up. It'd be an L.

I've got a very good friend who's gonna be VERY happy about Mario Party 2 being available again. Dude was searching for a cart for years; no dice.

Personally the Pokemon Stadium games would hold the most interest for me, I remember liking the first one back in the day.

They haven't released anything yet. I just went hunting for it on Xbox and nothing.
They have already announced it.

We always knew it would just be the unreleased 360 version that was leaked(probably intentionally) in 4K.

Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 for me... and with these I think I'm done with enough games I care about to get the Premium, I just want to know... Are the controls so bad using Switch controller?

That Direct bored me to tears but I'll take that portable online Goldeneye to go yes sir I will:messenger_ok:

Don't care about Bayonetta or a 2 second trailer of Tears of Link

And get it together Nintendo, time to add Dreamcast games on the Expansion pack that I paid for to make it worth the price.

Will it still run at 3fps when you detonate a few remote mines? N64 games on the Switch don't generally get performance improvements right, just a higher resolution?

I replayed this on the N64 with a few friends a year or two ago.

I think I can confidently say now that playing this after modern day FPS enhancements is a LOT less fun than your memories of playing it as a kid. I'll just leave it at that.

Still, if they were to update the controls, the game modes and maps are still amazing. Remote Mines on License to kill is still one of my favorite multiplayer experiences of all time.

Actually, the entire MP is made better by License to Kill. I don't think my friend group ever played with it off. Slappers become deadly.

Yup. People will play this and realize what I and very few others at the time realized. The game sucks.

I'm pretty sure a deal was struck in order for this to appear on Switch online, and it involved Microsoft.
So if Nintendo got it, then I'm sure Microsoft will get it as well, and if they get then that means Xbox/PC versions.

If that's not the case, then that's a real shame for everyone. It's the kind of classic I'd rather own versus rent.
