I took 2 years of german in HS (97,98)

im gonna take it again next fall in college but is there any good pc software for it?


I heard of rosetta stone is that any good?

Rosetta Stone is what I use and I've tried just about everything. I was going to suggest that you take a Berlitz course (the actual course -- not the program you do at home), but since you'll be taking German in HS I don't really see the need. The program is a bit pricey, though... I think I paid around $300 for mine?

Wow, I am trying to learn German, this applies. I was thinking of maybe looking for some audio books or something that would fit on an ipod so I could learn on my way to work and back.

I'm probably going there in the middle of the year and my GF is german, so I would just need the beginnings of the language to stumble around until being immersed there took over.....
