So this isn't the thread for the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind's of the indie movie scene.

We're looking for one's that haven't received much attention. Forgotten or not even noticed gems.

Here's my two contributions...

A very intelligent look at a cliche sci fi theme.

Stylized action film that adds a little bit to think/debate about.

Define "mainstream". Boondock Saints has a huge cult following, and Primer (which only came out on DVD a few weeks ago) seems likely to get one.

Ohh. Well I would consider "mainstream" being you would at least have a couple people knowing about it when you talk to them about it. No one I know knew about the movie. (boondock saints)

A pretty good horror movie that no one saw was Dead Birds. They actually used some town sets from Big Fish to start the movie off.

Yeah Because the movie didnt get mainstream buzz.....it only had two sequels and gave the director Robert Rodriguez a pool of money to swim in.

What so funny????

I know alot of people will not like this movie, because of the bad character development, no dialogue and other minor issues. I just really dug it.I guess I just thought it was a fresh Idea.
