Gen Z is the kids who come after Millennials, who are now (and have been for a while) adults in their 20s and early 30s. All teens now are Gen Z.

In other words, people who don't have a memory before Bush and 9/11, and even that may be cloudy or nonexistent, in the same way that the Berlin Wall coming down was always history to me even though I was alive during it.

But yeah I feel like the girl/guy disparity isn't getting talked about enough. These are young people being polled! Is that gap ever going to be bridged?

I do like LCD (it's just one of the bands I associate most heavily with that whole mid 2000's hipster culture/indie rock movement), and Chick Fil-A's food isn't bad for fast food. Not a fan of their corporate policy, though.

I teach at a high school. I assure you that teens don't think Oreos and Doritos are cool, and they don't really care about brands that much, except Apple and a few clothing companies.
