I must be a minority. Twitch has already been shit for quite a while now. For me, I'm not thinking about how bad it will get, but how it might be improved with Google's resources.

I do. Its all about trajectory. Twitch is just growing and growing and growing. More and more viewers, and it becomes more and more relevant each passing month. It also has a laser focus on something Youtube doesn't fulfill. Video Game STREAMING. YT has plenty of Lets Plays and whatnot, but it has failed to move into the gaming streaming area. So they are buying their way in.
