So I get an email from some guy in my city who also signed up for the Linkup service.

I read about this service from a GAF post a few days ago, so I thought the chances were good that the person who emailed me was a fellow GAFfer. Upon asking him, he replied asking if I meant GameFAQer, and if so, then the answer was yes.

I am already wary.

I spammed the hell out of the service on GameFAQS the past couple of days, sorry.

Although it surely translated into a smattering of asshats signing up, I thought the trade-off was worth it. There is really no better way to get the word out to the masses.
