You think that was trashing PD? It was trashing a behaviour, conditional on circumstances which did not eventuate. And my track record? I have been very critical of some things PD has done. I have praised many more. Get over yourself, and your love affair with PD. They are not perfect, far from being so, and when GT6 comes out, you wil have to listen to people criticise that, too. Probably me.

Hah, forgot about that. I was thinking about only street racing, and moving away from track racing, but fair enough.

Edit: If that was crying though, you still need to see a doctor (not you, cutmeamango).

Edit2: Reading through that period of the thread, I am going to stand by my statement being correct. I have never complained about a lack of street racing. I would be pissed off if GT was no longer track based in some way. Nice find though :)

Chill out, guys!

Ticket editing should be fun. As long as I don't get banned online. I mean, I don't have an interest in modifying cars beyond their performance limits to use offline or online, I just want the opportunity to get prize cars that I forgot to redeem before they expired! >_<

Well since it's ok, I just wanted to ask if I have to be online for the items to be added. I added some items to my save as well as adding credits and the credits are the only thing that changed. And if I have to be online to receive items, is there a precaution to take to make sure I don't get banned? I'm not planning on modding any cars but if I do I know I won't use them online.

I don't enjoy doing it, either. I will even argue the need for B-Spec as a means for earning money and cars is arbitrary. Still, I'm learning the mode because it has those benefits.

I attempted the Formula GT series last night and held the lead for 7 laps. Two problems arose. First, an AI rear-ended me and I spun into the wall, and I noticed them hitting each other in all corners. My lead was only a second; should I be further ahead of them in order to avoid fighting them?

Second, my FGT was peaking at 207mph and bobbing its nose on the starting straight. Do I need to adjust anything or is it possible to win with default tuning?

Yeah, they put up news about people with modified files being banned. I wonder if they'll be banning the secret menu instead of patching that out. Suffice it to say people racing hybrids of 3000HP's days are numbered.

I'm not too worried if I get banned from GT5's online since I never play it since the EXP and Money gain isn't really worth the time trying to find a decent room ("DRIFTZ! DRAG RACERZZZZZ COPZ AND ROBBERZZZZ!" *ZZZzzzzzz*) to play in. So long as I'm able to mod my money and get my stealth cars and the museum cards we're good Polyphony.

Well I haven't been banned on my main account yet. Only been borrowing the -2000PP Red Bull for 1 of the seasonal events to make 20mil in 5mins, though.

I'm starting to feel the itch for competitive online racing again. I'll try organizing a race sometime in the coming weeks when/if I have the free time. Would be really cool to get the old group back together for a nice race on Nordschleife. I'll post here and will also resurrect the old NRL thread when the time comes. Will probably have to send out a few PMs too... :)

We sure had some really fun races in the NRL and the Super GT league! Sometimes frustrating for sure, but some really good moments as well. When this generation is over the time spent online with you guys will go down in the books as the best time I had on the PS3. :)

Having finally got my wheel setup back after over nine months I would certainly be up for that! (time/date depending of course, it's wedding season again...)

I still remember that one some of our first 16 player races I was nervous as fuck pre-race like it was a real competition lol. And that DTM race was one of the best ones we had.


I hope we can bring this to the next level on PS4, specially with the live streaming capabilities.

And the endurance race from hell on Le Sarthe where your wheel got busted. I had planned a one hour 45 minutes race that due to the rain that wouldn't end turned into a close to three hours race... At the end of the race the few of us that endured where totally beat and you said that there was smoke coming off your wheel... :D

I'm getting really annoyed that Youtube keeps recommending this fake GT6 gameplay video whenever I click on a different video. It causes me to get excited every time I see those words, only to end in disappointment when I look at the picture and realize that it's just fanmade. :/

lol no. They didn't care though, they even asked if I had damaged something else with the "fire". Pretty sure they are aware of this issue on some G25s considering how they replied and how fast they sent me a new one. Probably afraid of some lawsuit.

Youtubes recomendations have been utter shit lately. Pretty sure something is broken over there.

Nah, it's just Logitech being Logitech. I had a minor fault on my first GT wheel and they just asked for the serial # and then proceeded to send me a new wheel - by courier, from Germany. I had the new wheel in 24 hours.

Sounds about right. I had an old Logitech keyboard/mouse combo I paid £100 for that came with a 5 year warranty. The space bar was acting up so just on the off chance I gave them a call. They asked me to send them a photo of my keyboard and the serial number, I didn't have the receipt anymore, nor had I registered the product. BUT by release date it could only have been 4 and a half years. They had no issues just sending me a new bundle. Really I've nothing but praise for Logitech when it comes to their customer support.
Not had any issues with my Driving Force GT wheel yet, but then it's not had much use.

My advice is to go away and do something else for an hour or two, when you come back you will nail it in quick time. Always works for me if I get stuck.

Feels fucking good man.

223 cars left to buy as well.

I think that was just for a year since it's already appeared in the recent Forza games. Any Pagani is good as far as i'm concerned. But I hope that they don't focus too much on newer cars for GT6. They can still flesh out older cars as well. I know a lot of people want to see several old Ferrari's in the game.

I'd be all for that. One car that I always want that is never in the game is an E30 BMW M3.

As much as I want more cars added in GT6, unless they revamp their engine/mechanic sounds, it's pointless.

Nothing more disappointing than taking a gorgeous Premium car out for a spin and cringing at the noises coming out of my 7.1 channel home theater setup.

5 mins later, I'm playing
Horizon
and tunnel blasting with the same car I used in GT5 and the audio porn gives me goosebumps.

They can add 1000 premium cars from everyone's wish lists but if they still sound like ass, why bother?

So I finally got my new ps3 connected to the Internet recently and have been going back to play the games I never finished.

I put gt5 in and it's got about 6 gb of downloads to do for the update! Wtf!?

Better be worth it.
