DAT Edge quote.
Why XL Edition, why not just GT5 Spec 2.0?
Moreover, they're still using the same boxart.

It is called exactly like that...in Japan.
However, SCEA obviously thought how "Spec II" (notice how actual Japanese cover uses Roman "II" as it should from series-heritage perspective, not "2") was not so.. saleable.
Ah, SCEA.. Still nothing about Moon Over The Castle, yes? SCEE? No Moon Over The Castle either, yes?
Moon Over The Castle should be retired from intros anyway. Soul on Display should be GT's new theme. Never get bored of watching Spec II's intro; the best PD have ever done. I think Kaz might agree, given the amount of times he retweeted the positive comments on the intro...

The intro of GT2 (not the remixed crap) is probably still my favorite intro from the series purely for nostalgia and what getting that game meant for me at that time. Watched that intro everyday I had the game.
Unless they count the FT-86 and concept, + the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motor Sports '11
Fellas, I just got a PS3. Are there multiple editions to this game? I'm not sure what I need to buy. Also, is there a quality wheel for under $200?

Midfield and Apricot would certainly make me and my friends happy for some time now.
XL/Spec II includes gigabytes of updates + vouchers for all DLC.
Best wheel under 200$ would be a DFGT, unless you manage to find a G25.
Someone needs to ask Kaz about what's going on with GT2 tracks. So many great ones just gone AWOL.Red Rock Valley. It's like a track you'd find in Wipeout.
No...
Kart Space I
Kart Space II
Spa-Francorchamps
Spa-Francorchamps Weather Change
Thought this was real for a second!lol
Is this coming to the EU? I wanna buy GT5
SCEE and SCEA successfully destroyed every single GT intro ....
sorry I disagree at least with SCEE probably because i hate moon over the castle .
GT1,GT2,GT3 intro are just awesome. my favorite is gt3 feeder ftw
Even if their standard models please bring back the Formula cars from GT3.
I would pay anything for the last car to be a premium
Blah.
Europe/PAL got superior Polyphony 001 and 002 fictional cars. Who need such iconic shapes when you can enjoy genuine fantasy vehicles.
Because Senna. Senna, Senna, Senna, Senna.
I was clearly sarcastic. Moment I've realised we will not be getting all those beauties is my single greatest dissapointment in history of GT.
I have some more rudimentary questions again. I've tried looking these things up, but some of the answers I've found are rather vague.
How exactly do the B-spec driver commands work? At first I had thought it was just something simple like: pace up = go faster, pace down = slow down, but after a while that didn't seem to be the case. Is it more like telling the driver how carefully or recklessly to drive? When is the best time to use the overtake command? It seems like even if he's right on the tail of someone and could feasibly cut around, he won't take the opportunity even if I use the command.
If I'm not in an endurance race, should I always use soft tires?
What's the best all around starter car that I should aspire to, particularly for a race like the GT World Championships in Pro? The Nissan GT-R GT500 was working pretty well for a while, but it's starting to be outclassed in many races, even ones where my driver is several levels above the race level. I have upgraded pretty much everything in it to where its PP is around the 700s. I had bought a Ferrari 599 and completely upgraded everything, only to find it had fewer PP. I also wasted a bit of money on the fully customizable transmission and suspension, only to realize I have no idea how to actually customize them.
