Sophy AI now supports tuned cars, tire wear, pitsopts, fuel economy, etc. Not to mention custom races( note: custom races payouts were increased last year).

Pretty sure this all but confirms that gt8 will only have Sophy AI( for entirety of single player including campaign). Tire wear, fuel and pitstops were the last remaining hurdle.

Edit: Someone recently made an updated campaign for gt7 using custom races. This update makes it even better

Sophy needs a ton of work, and they are slow. But I continue to love all these other updates. I hope they continue to add Cafe Menu's for the rest of the generation of this game until GT8 at least. I am a fan of the Aston Martin Vantage '18, so that is a nice addition.

LMAO a CX-30.

Either Mazda paid for this or someone on the dev team really wanted one, but had to buy an HR-V instead, so they put it in the game so they get to drive it.

I don’t care if the Kangoo and CX30 suck for a racing game, it adds variety to the roster rather than another GT3 car or sports car not too dissimilar to multiple cars already in the game

Allowing users to create custom campaigns in game could be interesting.

Polyphony could get away with with their poor attempt at campaigns.

Another GT3 car? you act like if PD adding GT3 cars is common the last gt3 car that was added was over a year ago.

But I see why add a car like the 499p that has won Le man 2 years in a roll over another Honda civic.

Yup it is very rare additions.

I think they really need new additions to the GT3 and GT4 lineup.

Sports modes is a big seller for gt7 and it heavily relies on those class of cars.

Also some of the longer offline races are fun with those cars.

Agree.

Myself I'm not big on GT3 cars but when you see that Ferraris GT car is a GT3 car from 2013 you have to wonder why there not updating that.

In fact more tracks have been added to GT7 then GT3 cars have and yet users like the one I quoted act like GT3 cars being added is a common thing. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Some day....some day.

Haven't played the game since I had a macro running to farm credits at launch. Might give it a go again soon.

For people who've played both, is Forza Motorsport worth a go?

I haven't played the newest Motorsport, but it's NOT worth it according to basically everyone.

Maybe some of the older titles though.
I'll stick with GT then.

Think I played it too much when it came out. I was really proud of getting all the S license challenges done and felt I'd completed it after that. The one with the formula car around a wet Spa was one of the most challenging things I've ever completed in a game.

I will be SHOCKED if this week's online time trial isn't the Kangoo...

Does Sophy work in the rain yet? How many more tracks left? If they throw in an optional bonus multiplier to race against Sophy in all their world events and tournaments, this would practically make it a whole new game.

I've only just discovered there's a whole Kangoo subculture in Japan. I would imagine they'd add it sooner to please the fans of this model from their local market. Really cool pick, I think it's the model's first appearance in any racing/car game??
