Granblue Fantasy was a strictly gacha game for mobile. They took a step in the console/PC space with Granblue Fantasy Versus, which was good, albeit with it's fair share of problems. Then late last year, ArcSys dropped probably the best fighting game last year. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Not only did it fix all of the issues of the first. They made it a hell of a lot prettier, with a ton of content to boot. Let's not forget, they are adding 2b to the roster next month.
Recently they also dropped the Demo for Granblue Fantasy Relink... And... HOLY SHIT. The Gameplay is fun and satisfying, there are tons of different characters that all play differently from each other, and the devs explicitly said that this is not a live service game and there's NO GACHA AT ALL. And even though is not a live service game, there's already a new raid and two new characters coming to the game.
Dungeon Fighter Online, or DFO for short, seems to be following the same steps with DNF Duel (Though it launched with way more problems than the Original GBVS) and now with what looks like it'll be an amazing single player RPG with
Now My question for you guys is: If you could grab a mobile only or gacha game, and fully flesh it out what franchise would you choose?
Personally I would love an Action RPG based on Grand Chase, even though it was originally a PC game it was absurdly Pay to win, it later got a Gacha game, and even the re-release of the original that launched is absolutely P2W trash(even more so than it was in the past it seems).
