Got the colors to match as best as I can.

that looks great, I was finally able to find one driving a vagos buccaneer. It also spawned while I was driving a hardtop peyote. The paint looks great too at night. It has a matte/pearl look, it's possible to get pearl on matte using a glitch. Which combo of paints did u settle on, it looks like u nailed it from that pic. I also found a western daemon chillin' outside the casino near a simeon requested vehicle, it has The Lost insignia on the seats.

That's carbon black metallic paint with a grace red or red pearlescent if I'm remembering correctly. As for Daemon's all of them have the Lost MC logo on the seats.

any guess as to which gang the peyote belongs to? You think it's a Madrazo Cartel car? I was looking at the gang colors and the blue Tornado may belong to the Marabunto Grande gang. What about the silver one tho? Armenians? Koreans?

The gang cars that aren't gang cars if the Peyote's I've grabbed are anything to go, by are simply unaffiliated cars. They spawn modded within the world under ownership of no one particular group.

I think they might actually be gang cars. I jumped into a maroon peyote and got a bounty put on me, yea it happens. Although, here's what struck me as odd- i've gotten the same text after finishing a round of gang attacks. "you're fucked now." No "you stole my ride etc.." bs. I also got a wanted star when getting into a silver tornado- Unless there was a cop cruising on that back road leading up to the bridge, but nothing showed up there on the radar. It was like i grabbed one of simeon's request but instead of automatic 2 stars there was just 1.

The wanted star you gained is from you breaking into and stealing the car it can happen randomly with any vehicle you steal. The bounty message varies with the amount I believe.

I'm hoping new-gen version has more full beards a la Trevor for our player characters. That, and Heists, is all I need, and I'll be good with GTAO for the next year.

yup, i've jumped into alot of gang cars without getting stars since the doors are always open- just gunshots in gang territory. That bus graveyard is always a quiet spot tho, nobody standing around. The star shows up if u steal a few of them i found out or u just get a bounty. I was finally able to find the blue tornado, it's a hardtop. Is there a droptop variant?

Perhaps I wasn't clear but you can get a wanted level by stealing a parked car automatically without anyone around. There is a convertible tornado.

Make certain you all get them cars back to your garages and insure them first thing! I decided to finally mod a Futo, been wanting to for a while. Was going to paint it first, then take it back to my garage. Ended up fully modding it. On my way back, got a High Priority vehicle that gave me ADD all of a sudden...I totally forgot I had to still take it back to my garage. Soooooo I left it in the middle of some parking lot. 160k, GONE. I've done this once before...ugghhh such a dumb, dumb, dumb mistake.

Once I loaded into a new map to join a buddy, I just stood there for about 5 minutes staring into space, thinking "wtf did I just do.". Then some random dude picked me up, tried showing me glitches. He then proceeded to leave, and come back several times over the next hour, with different characters each time it seemed. His levels were all over the place. Once I started seeing some crazy things happening in the game world, I had a sneaking suspicion this fella was doing some illicit activies. It's becoming harder and harder to escape these glitchers.

I can't find those Tornados any longer, but I usually have good luck with the Bucaneers...maybe it's the time of day I am looking isn't right. Usually it's at night.

I think the best way to escape glitches is just get a large enough group of friends and do friend/invite only servers. At least that's my goal one day. Don't think it will happen, but then again I don't mind playing by myself either. I usually only come out from an invite only server when I'm bored and have nothing better to do (yes, I'm one of those that plays MP games by myself, heh).

I just wish they could have no PVP/friendly servers for those of us who would rather play co op with people rather than constantly shoot at each other (I only really care for doing shootouts when I'm really bored. I much prefer causing chaos with people rather than against).

Ah well, I'm trying to stay on hiatus from it til the PS4 version comes out cause I really don't want to be bored with it when the PS4 version comes out.

If people want to avoid idiots and glitchers and are tired playing solo feel free to add me on 360 - Broken Beans

I also have number of good friends who play.

Will also be buying for XB1.

so one time i tried to steal a car through the passenger side and i pushed the fire button or something. the npc driver started freaking out but didn't leave. so it just drove me around as we were running from the cops.

I think the time matters, but it has more to do with what you're driving too. It wasn't until i showed up in a hardtop tornado that the blue tornado spawned.

As for playing alone like Tigress mentioned, I've thought about doing that but the only reason i do public free roam is for bounties and armored trucks. I usually split the bounties with whoever i kill if it's over 5k, anything less i just give to them. Unless they're at a low rank, i just give them the whole bounty because they need money more. The trucks tho, I keep all that!..and the new Lester random hits too. Speaking of...i did a random hit for Lester and only got $2300, the fuck? He need to step up his pay for that shit, it shouldn't ever drop below $5k.

Finally beat GTA;O (reached level 120) think I'm going to take a hiatus until the next DLC pack comes out. That and I'm sort of sick and tired of the modders, bounty hunting is no fun when they can't be killed, hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Best bang for the buck mission by far is Defender, $17,000+ for shooting down 4 helicopters in a Buzzard. 2nd is Potshot - snipe two guards, kill driver coming at you, and drive about a mile for $10,000. Wonder why people even bother with Rooftop when those two are far easier and can be done solo.

My trick for finding the gang cars is the night hours and going to the area where the green gang cars reproduce (only seen one or two purple ones). If you drive down it you are sure to see a gang car stopping at the stop sign in the middle of the street. If you drive around the block (gotta get far enough for it to respawn cars and give it a minute) you can get it to spawn another one. It will be pretty reliable til about 4 or 5 am (usually from 11 PM or so to 4 or 5 am, I forget which but it's got a very definite cut off time).

This has been so reliable I can usually keep my garage full of them to sell (I can usually manage to snag two or three per night and this is with me being picky and refusing to go for anything that won't bag me at least upper 9k). Yeah, I keep one 10 car garage solely for cars to sell (Though it's getting infringed on now by keeper cars, heh. But I think I only have one car left I'd like to buy).

Rooftop is pretty easy doing solo honestly once you figure out a trick for it but thanks for the tips of other missions (it gets boring spamming the same mission when I'm trying to build up money/xp). In fact I prefer Rooftop solo now cause without solo you run the risk of getting people who either just like to run over the other players with cars cause they just like trolling other players or will ruin it cause they dislike you and run you over and waste a life killing a player and then aren't good enough to do the rest of it themselves with 0 lives. Also, my trick for rooftop makes it easy enough now that it's more fun doing it solo cause i actually get to do something (I'm not the best of players so when playing with others I usually end up not helping much as they are much quicker at killing the guys than me).

I also like Coveted I think (The one where you have to take a cargobob, get a crate, and deliver it). It's longer and doesn't pay as much but it's fun for a change (I like sniping so I just snipe all the enemies before stealing the helicopter and getting the crate. If you kill everyone before you get the helicopter you can usually get the crate to the destination even with the helicopter chasing you and no one else to shoot it down. Actually, that's the harder part than the sniping everyone).

Also, if you are willing to do a long survival mission, the one at the airplane graveyard is easy to do solo (once again I prefer solo cause I know I can do it if I can get behind the trailer but if you have more than 2 people you might find that spot taken and the people not as good at surviving). I like the survival at the bank though doing with others. Seems the right amount of challenge but giving you good spots to hide (but there's not a good spot to just stick in one spot and get them that I've found but that is what makes it more challenging).

Where's Ted?

Way too much work on at the moment to get enough time to play. Quite literally all work and no play is making Ted a dull boy.

I might manage to sneak on for an hour or two this weekend but I want to get in some good ol' family time first.

So, with all this hacking nonsense starting to run rampant, I think we should really organize some sort of private lobby sessions, or friend/crew sessions. I know my schedule is a mess, as is a lot of peoples, so it won't be easy to get all of us on the same page.

To that end, I am thinking of possibly opening up the crew to some PSN friends of you all; people that you know play regularly, or are at least decent people to play with. I know I still have a small handful of people on my friends list that still play regularly. While they won't necessarily have to set Gaf as their main crew, it would certainly help those people that are not friends with them in the first place. mkae it a fun social environment, to where friends can meet friends that can meet friends of friends friends. And now, I would like to take a brief moment, to hear some inspirational words from the elegends themselves, Whodini.
Friends, how many of us have them?
Friends, ones we can depend on
Friends, how many of us have them?
Friends, before we go any further
Lets be friends
Sadly, for the adding of crew members, I can only do the PS3 side of things. I am not certain who the Xbox crew leader is...is it one of you out there, reading this right now?! Let's collaborate, if so! If not...well...the OG leader must be a Gaffer, so perhaps sending them a PM to see about getting enough of a promotion from the Social Club so *you* can take over. One thing I am mostly curious about is when the next gen versions come out, if we would need to make another crew, or if the existing ones would migrate over and be a dual purpose crew. I think it would be the former, to make things easier on R* to prevent list splitting, and other potential headaches, but I'm hoping for the latter. I could try to put together some sort of basic Google doc for everyone so that we could see each others time zones, preferred play days, times, styles, etc. That I could do for both XB-tree sitty and PS3.

These are thoughts I've been mulling over for a bit, and with the antics happening in Los Santos, I think it might be time to start doing something. I'm tired of things when playing with rando's, like hopping in someone's car, only to have them clip through a building with me inside. Or be walking with them, to have both of us fall through the map. Or to be constantly targeted for no reason, other than to be a sponge for the randumb's bullets they are raining upon me. One time, not too terribly long ago, I was in a lobby with 15 members of the same crew. I was the oddball. They let me play with them, with hardly anyone killing each other. Just large goups of people cruising the streets, flying helicopters, fist fighting NPCs, and more. It was glorious. That is what I dream about...but what do you all think of the above ideas?

I did some No Damage runs of Rooftop this morning- clocked a time average of 4-5 mins. I wasn't using a supercar though, so there's about 30-60 seconds to shave. If I don't buy armor, each of my runs cost $1100-2000.

Potshot is arguably quicker but long runs aren't as satisfying. I made a 10x playlist which reduces between-job time a bit, and it gets kinda boring.

Boneyard is a fun Survival. I would recommend Sandy Survival for lower level players though, as the good weapons are much easier to pick up between waves. The enemies are much more concentrated depending on where you hide, so picking up their cash is easier. Altogether the cash is about $2500-3000 which basically pays for ammo.

Coveted can still be soloed but it's a nightmare with random players. Also the Mission Start spawn point is broken so sometimes it spawns you at the bottom of the mountain. In that case, a good off-road PV is recommended.

Also you probably don't need 10 gang cars. Keep 1 Gang Peyote and *break*

...force it to spawn at the gang areas. Peyotes are the most valuable at nearly $13K. Be careful though; maybe it's me but the Vagos, etc. feel more vicious than before!

Heh, I find sandy harder for the fact there really isn't a good place to defend from. The spot I thought best will sometimes spawn guys right behind you. The other good spot doesn't really give you a good range of shots (you'll not be able to kill many from it as you don't get a good angle to where the enemies are running from and impossible practically to get helis from.

Boneyard is super easy once you learn the trick. Hide behind the trailer behind the wall, keep an eye on both ends and you're good. The helicopters can't get a good shot on you from there so they will not kill you long as you move if they shoot you once to a different area of the trailer and it makes it so you only have to defend two openings. Plus if you are down to just the helis if they damage you too much you can run to the middle of trailer and heal (they barely ever can hit you there and if they do you can easily move out of what opening they found). Run out and get armor and ammo between waves and you're good. It does take some patience and you might have to run out and kill the last guy or two (but by that time they are easy to get cause it is only them).

Also, the survival I think in the train yard actually has a decent spot but farther away from armor.

yea, don't forget about the tear gas. It comes in handy for covering your back or just staight up thinning out the horde. Boneyard has the trailer. Sandy, has 2 spots there's extra armor right in front of one. It's by the fenced in area in the corner.

The Industrial Plant also has a good spot, follow the ladders up to where the armor is and keep going up. There's a rail to jump over and you'll find a good spot around the corner up there. I've done Industrial Plant solo from that spot. 3 things tho, watch your footing it's way too easy to fall. Trucks are the only real menace, try to take them out quick. Also the helicopters don't show up as much as the trucks and you can take them out easy from up there. The bad thing about this spot, there's no time to go down and pick up ammo. Unless you save 1 guy at the end- but you still only got a short time to get back. There's armor on the way up/down tho.

I'm all set when it comes to gang cars now too. I'm haven't even begun to search for a softtop variant of the blue tornado.

You guys are so organised. Pretty much all I do in GTA:O is find out the douchiest microphone user, get a buzzard and go kill them. It's hilarious fun. I also really enjoy fucking with people who are trying to get into the air base, I made this little kid cry once I was so proud.

Get this - little douchebag kid singing on his mic, swearing away, dropping nbombs and fbombs all over the place, perfect prey. I was in a buzzard and he was at the freeway near zancudo trying to jump over the fence to get his own. So I blew him up a few times just as he was jumping and he's yelling and screaming and all that good stuff. Eventually I let him over the fence, just trailing ominously in my heli and he goes right for one of the two buzzards. I let him get in, start to take off and then my heli got a lock so I blew him up again. Screaming, frothing, hypersonic rage.

As he's respawning I land my buzzard next to the fresh untouched one, hop out and plant a sticky bomb on it before taking the new model and flying away from the base to land on the nearby mountain. On my map I can he his blip moving, zooming up to the base, getting inside, making his way over to the buzzard, stopping for a sec and then slowly starting to move. I take my time and get airborne again and then head south into the city, I'm far enough away and my heli is in better condition so I can keep him out of range, and he's screaming at me about how it's on and he's going to make me sorry.

We get to the city, I jump out of my heli in mid air and parachute on top of the tallest sky scraper and I can just see him as a dot on the screen. I let him get closer, and closer still until I'm sure he can see me. And then I detonate the sticky bomb. Silence for a second as he respawns and then an amazing, oscar winning tirade of screaming, swearing and crying from this obnoxious little kid, until at the end he's just sobbing and repeating "why would you do that. Why. Why. Why would you do that??"

My work is done, disconnect.

The thing about GTA that's most interesting is that because the p2p combat is so awful and lacking in any skill, you have to get really creative in order to really fuck with people. That's what makes this game special, getting creative with ways to make people sad.

Above two responses, sorry but you are the kind of player I dislike playing with. I want to play with people who like having fun with other people, not at the expense of other people. I really dislike the players whose fun is trying to make other people miserable.

I know one time I rigged one of the Simon cars with a bomb and parked it right in front of a guy's garage, took a while since he wouldn't leave but when he did I had a good laugh while on the other side of the map.

One thing I've always wanted to do but never succeeded at is dropping a vehicle on somebody from a cargobob or just crashing a Titan into them while parachuting to safety.

Each to his own. I have a sense of morality though, I only really go after mic abusers and I'm more playful than vicious. I find the people who just donk on you as you're spawning to to much worse.

Good call. At the very least, the next event would be a great time for mass gathering.

Awesome story. Being creative in this game is where it's at! 80% of my time online I prefer to avoid combat. But when I get that urge to rampage it up, doing things outside the box really is the most satisfying to me. Similar to what you did- call Pegasus for my buzzard, stickie it, and leave it near a crowd. Wait for the inevitable theft, and boom! Or using cars as torpedoes, killing people with the wings of planes, and more. If a rando just comes and shoots me, for no reason, I'll snipe them silly. But if someone drops a car on me from a cargobob flying high in the sky, I'm more than cool with that. I'll try to fun some other way to one up them if possible. Send some taunting joking messages. Doing something aside from the norm. Lately, when I am done playing, before I quit I choose a target. I then try to steal a Lazer. After that, I try to kamikaze into them, with the Lazer. One chance, I quit no matter what. The more people around, the better. Imagine if you just saw a Lazer come slamming down on someone close by for no reason, then the pilot quits. Will create some great stories..

I just remembered this but one time I got a desert cop car with cops inside with a cargobob and I carried them all the way to the top of the maze building to see what the would do and wouldn't you know they drove right off the building and survived or at least didn't explode since I didn't see/hear one.

What you described seemed more vicious than playful. I don't really enjoy it when some one continiously comes after me and does not give me a break even when it's obvious I am no match for them. You say you enjoy hearing htem cry/rant in anger, that's not really playful.

As for mic abuse, I guess I'd probably say that depends on what you consider mic abuse. I've had several pick on me just cause they dislike my voice (and I admittedly do like being chatty). Like I can help what my voice sounds like. They don't like it cause they assume I'm a little kid, and even if I was, why is that in itself bad? I've met plenty of kid players who were fun to play with. One even was doing the obnoxious breath into the mic until I grumbled at him to move his mic and he was very apologetic and fixed it. Many people would have just decided to pick on the poor kid without finding out he just didn't realize it was happening. I've met older players who are far less polite and criticize them at all (like tell them they are breathing into the mic) and they'd just go off on you.

And honestly, unless they are truly assholes who enjoy griefing others, what you described you do sounds like overkill even for some one who is abusing the mic (yeah, sure, get them a few times. But to follow them around and make sure they are miserable? I mean you describe with glee how you had one crying. That's not playful!). But griefers, yeah, I don't mind them being miserable. If your fun involves making other people miserable, then I don't care if your fun gets ruined.

As for pranking people, I just don't get into that. Not unless it's people I know and they know it's all in good fun. I want to be sure the people I'm playing with are having fun too, not just having fun at their expense.

Which does mean I'm never getting my los santos skin for my sniper rifle cause you gotta snipe 500 people for that and I can't get myself to randomly snipe some one (well unless they already started it with me).

That blue sniper rifle does looks nice tho! That green one does too.

I split bounties to keep people off my back, it works 90% of the time and some even say thanks. There's the serious ones tho, the ones that get all mad at free money. I remember one time I claimed a 7k bounty on this dude dressed like joker, he was with 3 others all jokers too make up and everything. I saw it was a group on the map, so went off the radar to get into position for a shot. I showed up on the radar like 3-4 seconds after i took the shot, his homies swarmed the building i was on top of. I split the bounty right after i claimed it, and i guess the guy told them because they didn't start shooting when they reached me. I know some crews got like rules not to shoot eachother unless they agree. I respect that but it still seemed odd that he was walking around with all that money on his head. I think he just liked his skull icon on the map.

Nope, but modders discovered over 100 heists animations in existing game files, so heists are coming. Eventually ;)

It probably means if somebody appears with a billion dollar bounty you probably shouldn't claim it. :p

I was on last night for a good couple of hours and didn't see any massive bounties, the mod menu method spawns cash drops (of the mod menu users value of choice) on and around the selected player. Collecting this money adds the cash to you pocket but it apparently does not stick when you leave a session unless you buy something before leaving/changing session. I've not tested it though.

There are a ton of god mode users though (four in one session I joined). Most were using their invulnerability to basically spawn kill and generally troll users. The throughput of other users in lobbies is quite sad to see. Player joins, player stays for five minutes, player gets trolled by god mode user, player fights back, player realises there is nearly nothing they can do, player gives up, player leaves.

If you are lucky though you can troll them right back, their vehicles are still vulnerable and they still fall down when hit by a melee weapon. If you then keep hitting them on the ground they can do nothing but stay down or exit. With a few of you taking turns you can keep them there pretty much indefinitely, or at least until they call you whatever low brow insult they can muster before leaving the session.

It is hilarious to see the tables turned but I'd still rather just have clean lobbies so I guess report the ones who aren't using throw away accounts (have trophy/profile data) and troll or avoid those who are (no trophy/profile data).

Incidentally, there is far less of this behavior in free aim, presumably because there are less people to troll.

Guess the Lazer pilot on today's session was somekind of hacker, but before him messing the game, I had tons of fun with lPHOENIXZEROl, and some random guys and us battling them.

Really would have seen their reactions for one special sticky bomb snipe, which I wonder why I don't do more often or other people do it. Just drop sticky on certain part of the road which is easily seen on map (crossroad etc.) and wait the pursuer to be on that spot and then explode it. Though, won't work if the guy is near you, but in this case they were nice length away.

And for mic abusers, I just tend to ignore them, or if they're some kids shouting idiotic things and massive profanities and nothing else, I might try to mess them up a bit for a while and then go on doing somethin else, like dying.

But if the online is starting be filled with hackers/modders, guess it's time for invite/crew only stuff, even if that might remove all the fun things random people give us. (and I really need to start playing this again more often, could even cheer me up a bit.)

New car (old style corvette lookalike) looks great and looks like there may be actual flight related missions. This also sounds like a positive change but I'll wait to see what it actually means:

Tomorrow’s update will also introduce a host of gameplay changes to GTA Online – these include increased payouts for harder to complete missions and GTA$ bonuses for playing missions with others.
