This may be better off in it's own thread so people in different regions can keep up to date with it but it's now available to download again in the UK store on the PS3. Not tried the PC Store so don't know about that or other regions.

I'm not worried in the slightest, it's just that some people who have a problem with this kind of content (which people who are buying it shouldn't, I should add) may want to know.

Nice of the allstate guy to make an appearance for all of 2 scenes before getting gunned down. Good to see young natalie portman in there too for....some reason.
I'm blown away by the character development.
edit: I'm not saying it was an awful movie but it really did run about 45 minutes-1 hour too long.
I tend to love Destructoid fellows. I absolutely adore Holmes.
That being said, I like my gangsters. I like my heists, I love my gangsters in decline balancing their marital problems and careers, I love my gangsters dreaming bigger than just street level gang shit. I love my psychopaths who don't mind embracing insanity to destroy everything in front of them.

True, although I don't think he had any intention of buying it in the first place, especially if he hated the themes in the previous games.
Still, his tweet is a great way to get people worried about low review scores, even though that is clearly not what he is referring to.

I'm thinking I should have watched that too. From what I remember seeing from that movie when it was coming out I get the impression it's more about just Cruise and Foxx than useless secondary characters. I hope anyway.
Which is an odd thing to throw at GTA V. Franklin is the most neutral or safe character in the game, the other two seem much more haphazard and dangerous. Franklin is a fantastic balance of both bravado and temperament.

He says 'It doesn't sound like I'd like it', which doesn't rule out the fact that the review is going to be positive. No doubt the guy read something about it that he doesn't personally like and doesn't want to play it anymore, but I'm not really sure what he was expecting.
There are bits with other characters, but those bits last a few minutes at most and those bits don't involve romance or slow burning developments. Collateral is all about Cruise and Foxx and the dynamic between both characters.
I got that too, at about 14% - decided to delete and re-download...

But what I love about all the trailer footage I've seen is that Rockstar is approaching the gangster character from three very different perspectives. I love that! The subtleties associated with each approach, the different methodology, the different activities all associated with each converge with heists.
I can embrace tradition with great variety!

Ok, well we know from leaks that V isn't fundamentally broken in someway that its not even worth a purchase. That sounds to me like a problem with the commentary in the game, probably misogyny if I had to guess. Sterling's review probably says something like "in 2013, this level of sexism is not acceptable"

Everyone is terrified of being banned lol I love it. I have NEVER seen this kind of hysteria for a game prior to release. Is there anything comparable to it? Then again, maybe it's because I'm so invested in it and have been in this thread since it was created.
It's been said many times before but one thing I love about the GTA games is how much the world itself is a character itself. Well I suppose that can be said for all Rockstar developed open world games, can't it? Those ones specifically anyway.
